Above the fog (Korada, Slovenia)

Mountain Korada (812 meters of altitude) is quite a popular hiking point for the locals. It is a great location for hiking (or cycling) all year round. It is located in western Slovenia, on the border with Italy. On the top, there is a small alpine hut, where you can get a drink or a hot meal.

Below pictures were taken during very special days….As you can imagine my house is down in the valley, covered with fog, so there was no other option than to climb uphill to get some winter sun.

The very dense fog was extended on the whole gulf of Trieste, the Friuli Venezia region, and Goriška region.

I had the feeling that the sea was closer than ever before 😊.
