This movie is about a boy who is charged with the murder of his father. He is a boy of 18 years old. Hearing all the evidences the court ordered a jury board to make a decision which consisted of twelve jury members. The amazing part is that when all of the jury members starting voting if he is guilty or not everyone marked him as guilty except one jury member.

Regarding the case there was some strong evidence which makes the boy clearly guilty to everyone. First evidence was a testimony of a old man who lives downstairs of that apartment and heard the boy yelling, "I will kill you" and saw him coming down of the apartment when the murder took place. The second one was about a women who lives straight opposite his apartment. And she testify that she gone to bed for sleeping and suddenly looked through the window where an el train was moving and through the last two car she saw him killing his father. And the last one is the boy purchased a knife exactly that one by which his father was murdered.

On the contrary the boy claims that he had a fight with his father and he went to watch a movie when the murder took place later when he returned home he was caught by the police. When the police came and interrogated him he couldn’t even remember what movie he watched just now. Which raised a question of his speaking truth or not.

Hearing all these in the court room it clearly seems that he is guilty so everyone voted on that. But that one person who said he is not guilty isn’t also sure about the boy is guilty or not. He just wanted to talk about it and sort of the things.

So here the story begins in a closed room with twelve men inside it. Here we get to see how we try to impose our opinions on other people. How we try to establish our personal opinions without giving that a thought. Got to see how conversations are letting facts to be solved. Twelve people with a decision and one standing opposite of the table. What will be the fate of the boy in the end is the real question.

A boy of today's is unlikely on watching a black and white movie of 1957. Even which is directed inside a room with just twelve people discussing over a case. Isn't it surprising to solve? I heard about the movie almost one year ago but didn’t watched thinking on the above line i have just said. I thought it maybe a masterpiece of that time amd how will it give me a thrill as per my todays need so i ignored then. But today i don't know why i started watching it suddenly and i was just waiting eagerly what will happen next. Really it was a thrilling one.Am evergreen movie which should be watched by everyone. It does give us a teaching why every little things matter. One objection against eleven people can really give a tough fight.
