Deal with the Devil.

"Enough of writing fake horror stories, there has been a lot of name and fame through my work, it's time for something bigger than the usual ones." spoken by one of the popular storytellers. Spent weeks on how to do something great, something extraordinary, something new that hasn't been introduced yet. Got it, he made a master plan, a risky one. He traveled to many countries to achieve something he was looking for. At last, he got what he was searching for. Found out the most paranormal activity practiced folks and caged an evil soul for his work. His initial idea was to interview an devil, about his evil works. This is not something funny or haven’t done anyone before here. So this is gonna be something outstanding.

He returned to his place with that captive evil soul. Being caged that was bound to do as he demands, the writer tried to befriend that devil. He made a deal to complete an interview for his work and then he will set him free. He asked about him turning into the devil, some of his evil deeds, and at last and the most important one asked the devil to describe one of his deadliest works. One thing to note, all of these interviews haven't been done in a day, it took a lot of days because that devil was caged, and only a short time was fixed to communicate. So he used to wait for a particular time at night and do some work to bring in the devil to communicate and the duration of communication was too painful for the devil.

So the devil started to reveal one of his deadliest works. He first mentioned how he played with his target. Oh! First, the devil told why he did it because no matter how evil that is, it won't harm without any reason. He mentioned the pains he suffered, mentioned the duration of his pain. Then he mentioned how he killed the family members first. On the first go the children were killed to give the indirect pains because they do hurt both mentally and physically. And then went for his wife, to eradicate the last person close to the target because it's necessary to make him alone to give him the taste of a soul who has none and make him feel the pain. Lastly gone for the target. Here is described in short but the details were deadly, even the writer was trembling with fear but smiling with the success he would get after publishing the book. It took him nearly a month to finish the whole work. When he published it, it created great havoc among the readers. He got more responses than he could think, more name and fame, more recognition. As per the deal, he set the devil free.

After a few months, his family met with an accident. Both of his children were missing and after a lot of searching, they were found dead in a lake near their house. This was an impossible case because that place is usually crowded so they would get drowned and no one would notice is very hard to believe. Yet it happened. That shook him, he was deep drowned in this trauma. It took him a long time to recover from this and another accident striked through his life. At the office, he got a call from the local police informing him about the fire breakout at his home and his wife being admitted to life support. After the death of his wife, he realized the reason behind all these. He found the puzzles of his life being matched with the story the devil described. He figured out the last puzzle as being him. He waited for it to be solved in his own way. He wanted to communicate with the devil for the last time to know why he did that because they made a deal. The writer suffered all the pain the devil mentioned, all he was waiting for was an answer, he doesn't crave for living, just craving for an answer. The devil appeared before him after a long period of the pain of waiting. The writer asked the reason after mentioning their deal. The devil replied, "The deal was that you would set me free and I would tell you the deadliest story of mine. The pain I endured while communicating was not part of the deal. So you paid for that."
