Dispellers of Darkness

So this is teachers' day. People are showing respect and wishing for their teachers through different mediums. Why don't I give a touch of it here too? So, first of all, I am grateful to all my teachers who have impacted my life directly or indirectly. Some of them drew positive images of them and some did negative. Whatever that is, I pray and wish for the prosperity of all of them.

In our life, we do have a lot of teachers, a lot. We came across them from different phases of our life and are still under their blessing. All the teachers don't have a similar impact on us. Some are confined within the regular education and classes and some do teach way more than those. I have even forgotten many teachers' faces and names from my school life. But some names are evergreen, I still remember the ma'am who held my fingers and showed me how to write an alphabet. I still remember the smile of my teacher when he helped me write my diary when I was on my first day at school. Some memories never fade away, they last throughout the whole life, and the persons also live through those memories.

Not every teacher can earn true respect from the students. If I make a list then it would have only a few names and would start with a math teacher from my college life. He was a very very helpful and cooperative teacher. Lemme tell you something that touched me recently. Some students don't pay teachers, they take the payment from home but don't give it to their teachers and spend it elsewhere. This happens at batch system teachings. During our time we have also seen many students doing these but he(math teacher) didn't pay any attention to those. He never forced or asked anyone of their due payments. This is not what I am astonished about. Recently I saw a status of him where he had written, "Students I have a request to all of you. Some don't pay me despite taking the money from their parents. I don't mind that but please don't spend that money on any bad deeds." He meant to say that in youth many do get spoiled and get addicted to many prohibited things. He requested not to spend those monies on something like this. Even in our times, we have seen him giving selfless advice to students. I have respected him for my time because of his gentle and calm behavior. Though I am not his student anymore, I get happy whenever I remember him by any means.

The most impact on life was from a ma'am. She taught me from class 6 to class 12. A long way, right? I will always be indebted to her. She did know me the most among all my teachers and appreciated me the most too. Showed guidance on different paths but I disobeyed her a lot. I regret those, she does have complaints about my life too and I can't stand face to face with her for a long time. But I do believe I will go to her and stand with the same enthusiasm as before. There are some misunderstandings to sort out before that. Actually, we had a big circle from her private batch, and we all wish to sort out everything and go back to her together, like old days. After 2k19 the whole batch didn't reunite till now but will do InshaAllah in the future.

Some teachers do act as friends and some do maintain distance with some attitude. I really love and respect those friendly behaviors from them. If you can't communicate with students properly then you will just be stuck with them teaching bookish knowledge only. You won't go beyond that barrier and some teachers and students are okay with it. Whatever, I wanna finish this with a wish that all of my teachers get the respect and prosperity they desire in their life.
