The Devil

A city named "X" is facing a terrible serial murder case. Every week there will be murder for sure. Every murder is being occurred in the same way. The funniest part is that all the victims are the leading criminals of that city. In a way, the citizens are admiring the killer but crime is a crime. Someone is committing a crime and he should be punished too, no matter whom he is killing. Even the murders are so brutal that anyone will feel pity for the victims. Can you imagine a murder where the eyes are cut off, ears are cut off, every organ of the body is cut into pieces and all these are done when that person was alive. Such a painful death that anyone would desire to commit suicide instead of being killed in this way.

The Killer would leave a note after every murder on behalf of the dead person stating, "I got punishment for the evil deeds I have done in this world." The law-enforcing agencies were also clueless on how to catch the killer. Many of the criminals were so terrified that they were willingly confessing their guilt before the police to be arrested. That was a good thing, hahaha. But the big fishes were still out there and the killer was hunting them mostly.

In one incident while killing a victim the killer got distracted by something. He didn’t kill that criminal whom he was going to kill. Almost caught and easily could have killed him like the others. That criminal was counting the last minutes of his life and got alive like he was reborn from the dead. What had happened there? Can you guess? It was about the son of that criminal whom the killer found hiding under the bed. When he saw that boy he remembered another boy who was also hiding under the bed like this boy. He saw how his parents were killed brutally by some robbers after robbing their home. How monstrous they were at that time. That boy saw everything for that place and couldn’t even utter a single word out of shock. That boy is today's serial killer. Every time he thinks of those robbers who made him an orphan and satisfies his thirst for revenge by killing the other criminals. From that day this orphan boy saw the cruelty of life. Gone through a miserable life which was destroyed all of a sudden by some criminals. That was a small and sweet family leading a very simple life that got slaughtered right before his eyes.

Don't know how the heart of that devil melted and spared that criminal. Maybe he didn’t want another devil to be born the way he is now. There is a saying that, "Even the devil was once an angel."
