I’m grateful for the coins 😎I really need to wheel and come again (regroup /plan and strategize) in order to get back on track for this no buy September. I didn’t do well at all last week. KFC saw me once or twice. We fall down but we get up. Those 500 yens should be bearing fruit in short order. I’m

Mello @missaj, good to see you - no-buy is harder than you think, I've discovered the same! It's good practice, though, by week four I will know what I'm doing.
Look forward to hearing about the 500 yens :)

Hello @missaj. Thanks for your progress report on your Week 1. You know, we all fall down because none of us is perfect. But the good thing is that we all can get up if we choose to.

I remember being in Weight Watchers many years ago. They taught me not to beat myself up about a setback. Acknowledge it, promise to do better the next day, week, or month, then move on.

Eating out one of 2x a week is not that bad. Did you list this as an acceptable expense in your No-Buy Plan? If not, then do so knowing that you may want to go out. I've discovered that limiting something we are used to is better than cutting it out completely. To me, that causes increased craving for the item UNLESS you can really do without something. Then again, we are only doing this initially for 30 days.

But the thing is you have to have a plan. I'm constantly reviewing my DO's and DONT's to see if I really put that on the list :)

You're doing good so far. It's only been one week. Don't let a setback deter you from moving forward into Week 2 with confidence.
