CCC's Street Art Contest: Look at what I found by accident!

There's a lot of Street art here in Playa del Carmen, and there are quite a few amazing talents here. It doesn't really matter where you go, you will always find some piece of stunning art on some corner or wall nearby.

This is my first time joining this CCC's Street Art contest, and if you like, you can read the rules and everything else here in @digi-me's post.

Playa's very best

I believe that Playa del Carmen, especially since it's only a very small city, has some of the most talented street artists in all of Mexico.
If you're very lucky, you might even meet one of them while they're at work!
I was lucky enough to see one artist in action as he was just finishing up his work, and had a chat with him. I will share his work another time, as it would mean digging up some photos in a far away corner of my photo files.

I love cycling here in Playa. Especially since we've just moved to a more quiet area, and we don't have to cross lots of busy roads to get into the center of the city.
From where we are, I usually just take Ave 20, 15, 10, or 5 all the way down into town, with barely any traffic, and then back on 30th, where there's more traffic but safer at night.
I'm in the center in less than 15 minutes on the bicycle, and I enjoy this a lot because you just never know what you'll see!

Just the other day, I felt like I was the luckiest person on earth when I first saw a HUGE iguana in the middle of the road, then a parrot on someone's front gate, speaking to me in Spanish. It was a lovely colorful Amazon parrot, and he definitely said: "Hola! Como estas!" And a few other things that I didn't understand. Cool nevertheless.

I was meeting my friend for her workshop, on 2nd, and coming from way beyond 100th street, that's quite a stretch. I was going quite fast, as there wasn't any traffic on the road, when I spotted this Masterpiece.
I had to stop, and turn back to take a photo.
Because I had little time, two quick pictures would have to do.
But I'm definitely going back to take better photos when I have more time.

Anyway, here it is!

When I looked at it again later, I noticed that I didn't get the whole piece in the picture, which is a shame but yeah, no time...
I didn't find any info for the artist, as he/she didn't leave a signature as far as I could tell but it could be that I've just missed it too.

This piece of art can be found in Playa del Carmen, on the corner of Avenida 20 and Calle 32 Norte.

I just love the Mayan art, and this one is no exception. I admire the artist's precision because I know it's hard to do a corner piece like this, and make it look symmetrical. This artist absolutely nailed it!

Here's another photo, a bit more of the art visible but its colors aren't that great, so I decided to put the other one first.
