Felices Pascuas! Easter in Mexico - And about kittens! Part 1.
Weird title? What's that about you ask?
Well, first of all, it's Easter (or at least for some of us it still is)
So happy Easter to all! Felices Pascua!
And what would Easter be if it wasn't about new beginnings, spring, new births...
So that's where the kittens come in.
Let's find out how it all relates!
Spending Easter time with old and new friends

This weekend was an eventful one. To say the least. Friday there was a crypto pool party which I attended. I came quite late because I still had to do a few Hive related things, so the crypto mingle thing was pretty much over but some good people were still there, which made it all worth it. My Swedish friends (@theliberator - you'll get to know him soon enough and his wife) were there, as well as their kids for a while, and @theliberator's college friend, and some of the crew who were with us in the jungle. It was a good time!!

Saturday the kids had their last skateboarding lesson, so we were up early enough, as their class started at 9 am. It was already scorching hot, even that early so I was happy when it was over to be honest.
The kids had connected with some of the others so that was a cool bonus.
@camthecreator was staying with the kids, because I had to leave early for the movie screening of "Terrain" by Dr. Andrew Kaufman. Some people would call him a conspiracy theorist, to me he is an awesome freedom fighter.
He truly has nothing to gain by doing and saying what he does, and everything to lose. But that might be a discussion for later.
I had the honor of meeting Andrew in person at Anarchapulco in February this year (and not just that hehe, if you've paid attention to my blog you'll know...).
I didn't expect anything else from the movie than that it would be great. And it was. I believe it's a must see for everyone!
After the movie, Andrew came in via Zoom for a Q&A, which I recorded partly.
I might actually post those later. Awesome stuff!
Then in the evening, I was off to yet another pool party. Bigger this time.
The Pool Party On Saturday
There are a few groups I'm part of here in Playa del Carmen. Too many to name actually. One of the ladies in one of those groups organizes parties for several occasions. There was a Valentine's party, which I didn't attend because I was in Acapulco, and now this Easter Party. It was held at The Fives Hotel Rooftop, which is one of the more expensive hotels in Playa.
I don't think all the people who signed up actually showed up but there was still a good number of people there.

A good salad goes a long way!
As the day turned into night, a DJ started playing. In the beginning, it was a bit boring, but later on, she started playing much, much better, and people were actually getting their groove on.
My daughter had texted me at 9 pm to ask if I was going to be out late, and I told her that I'd probably be home before 12... Well, that actually happened, because I ended up coming home at 3 am. Hahaha.
The pool party was finished around 11 pm, but before all was said and done, and we stood outside, it was probably 12 am. The my friend and I decided to go for a walk through the busy heart of Playa, and ended up meeting some people from the party elsewhere. All in all, it was a great Saturday and Night! It had been a long, long day for me but hey, I only live once! I was quite happy to see my bed though hehe!
Me chillin' in the full moonlight, at the pool. What a life!
The kittens! What about the kittens?
I'm afraid you'll have to wait for that one. Yes, evil little me used the kittens as clickbait. I'm mean. I know! But it'll have to wait till my next post. It did say Part 1!!! So in part 2 all will be revealed!
How about you? How did you spend your weekend?

Living the dream, not at all jealous.
Yes, life's good! I feel so blessed to be here and enjoy life every day.
Big change compared to only a few months ago :)
Living the good life missy!
<3
I'm trying my best hehe.
Sounds like it was a really awesome time. I was in bed by 7PM on Sunday because I had to get up for work the next day. I much rather wish I had been out partying all night! This looks like a really beautiful place to visit. Lots of stuff going on too to keep you busy. That is always good!
Yes, there's really a lot going on. Sometimes I actually have to say no to certain things because they are on the same day with something else hehe.
I haven't had that in a long time!
Sounds like you had an amazing weekend with friends and great food. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it was really great :) I'm enjoying every day I'm here.
Blessed!
Thank you for reading :)
A crypto pool party looks pretty lit! Moonlit even! lol! I am so glad you had such a fun Easter weekend, it must be awesome to be surrounded by such a cool community of like-minded souls. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Yeah, it is pretty awesome. I just can't get over how blessed we truly are!
I love every moment I'm here :)
Hey, I would like to travel to Mexico and I need some advices about the country. Can I contact you, so we talk a bit about that. I don't want to go there without asking those who already have experience or living there.
Hi @clixmoney yes sure! You can reach me in discord. @misslasvegas#6566
Let me know if there's any issues because sometimes it seems like I don't show up there.
I always had issues in finding people there. I'm clixmoney#0084 there, maybe you'll be able to find me. Otherwise, I just want to ask about the best places to live there, in terms of saving money. I mean I don't want to live in the best region, or cities. I need maybe just a little town where at least I can find English-speaking people. Maybe you have any ideas about that. Or you may find me in discord, or tell me how to find you somewhere else, so we will be in touch. I don't know anything about the country, and I'm travelling with my wife and little son, and I want to be sure that they will be safe there and we will have enough resources to live a good life.
No problem. I'm not home at themoment but I'll try to find you there. I'm also on Twitter if all else fails. @TheMissLasVegas is my handle there.😊
