Why Hive is my only choice for posting long form text.

Still on Elon and Twitter. No my long form texts or posts will not be going on Twitter. Why should they? I know Twitter as a micro blogging site, scroll and glance through a bunch of tweets and exit, the latest announcement about adding long form texts does not sit well with me.

But whatever, it doesn’t have to, as far as long form posts are concerned, Hive has got me covered, Hive is more equipped and far more advanced than any long form content hosting technology in existence.

I believe long form content takes some reasoning and brain power compared to micro blogging, imagine spending hours creating long form content only to get shadow banned or account restricted, I know it’s been said that things like that are reduced now but I don’t trust it, I trust code.

The fact that Elon said so doesn’t mean it’s coded into Twitter design to stop or reduce censorship or account restrictions, on Hive, no one’s account can be censored by design, Elon could catch a govt dart tomorrow and change his mind without prior notice or announcement it’s his isn’t it? nothing of such on Hive.

Imagine putting time and energy into building an audience on Twitter only to loose it all one day. On Hive, my one account and audience is carried over into other applications built on Hive, I have no worries of account restrictions. My audience goes where I go.

Also on Hive, my posts are monetized by design, so I I receive various crypto by posting and using relevant tags. I’m able to grow what I earn by plugging them into various internal mechanisms that further help me earn even more, by design, combined with several concrete implications like giving me the ability to grow stake to participate in the governance of the platform. So tell me again why my long form posts should go to Twitter.

But then again, he also said that Twitter will be adding creator monetization for all forms of content. Seriously, who will tell Elon we have it on Hive?

Interesting how these tech overlords are so excited to pioneer tech that has already scaled instead of collaborating to improve and expand on what’s existing and doing well. Let’s see how they plan to go about this if it’ll be any different from YouTube Web 1.0 monetization.

For me, I’ll continue using my space on Twitter to tell the world about the wonders of Hive, one after the other, they will realize. Things like this will also help people to ease into the understanding of what’s possible….and all this while Hive keeps getting better.

Elon will make so many changes to Twitter and might make it better because of how smart he is, let wait and see what happen with twitter

But why does he want to add long form to the mix when Twitter from day one is known for short form text? I guess it's easier to elaborate on a long form text about a Tweet that needs some explanation or providing context.

Nothing is perfect, and neither is Hive. In general, what remains indestructible is essentially destroyed. I don't think that twitter will be destroyed by any changes, on the contrary, they will give it a boost. I believe it will turn into something similar to Hive. I think this will give another boost to Hive, since there are some pathogens

Similar to Hive, I doubt that, but it’ll be nice to see them try. And I agree about the boost to Hive, because it’ll show people what’s better

I understand your angle for real. But then again, Elon now owns Twitter and he has made a few changes already. I think it's only fair to give him the benefit of the doubt this time. Let's just watch.

I give him all the benefits of doubt he wants, I’m not against him or his endeavors, infact, if there’s money to be made by posting long form content on Twitter, I’ll post and make some, but my go to is Hive, some people might choose to lay the foundation of their business on Twitter, I’ll choose Hive.

Sometimes I have a feeling Elon Musk or someone from his team is keeping a close eye on what Khal is doing with Leofinance (i.e. the new roadmap for Leofinance, merging short and long-form content on the same interface). Khal, watch out for what you say in public, lol!

Lool I wouldn’t doubt it one bit. Let them keep watching while Khal keeps building,

Musk may be smart, but he's impulsive. I don't think he has a real plan for Twitter. He's thrown a lot of money at it, but fired the people who know how it works. That doesn't seem like a smart choice.

He wants to create a “we chat” out of Twitter where Twitter has everything, but these methods don’t seem like the best way to go.

There are so many things that I suppose Elon is trying to do in Twitter. I am not sure will he be able to survive Twitter with all these changes! As for starters I always knew Twitter to be a place for users where I can go and see some Tweets and scroll and get over it. But with these long post initiative it is going to change a lot of things. I am not saying it's not going to work but all I am saying it will move Twitter from its whole viewpoint.

It is as of now Elon is desperately trying to recoup his investment which he spent to buy Twitter.

This man blows space ships and loose millions. I doubt he has any sort redemption to make. Too much innovation can ultimately ruin where one stands.

But either way let's see!!

I guess it's all Ego, in the end. I am curious to find out, over time, what will happen to Twttr and don't mind enjoying the 'spectacle' from the side line, with some virtual popcorn ( I'm happy with just using Hive ).

Maybe if he knew Hive exists he will find it easier to copy it. Or maybe he will want to take over like Justin Sun and pump our bags again

Elon bought twitter with a very serious business mind. He's trying everything he can to sugarcoat it and make is appealing as possible to the audience. I feel sorry for the web 2 class of people who will buy into this new long-form content and the dream of no censorship.

That is the point and censorship is the dark truth in these web 2 platforms such as facebook, twitter and instagram. Time is changing and now it is time for web 3.0... peace ♥
