Sincerely, having government interference in decentralized economy is something I do not truly appreciate.
It is hard enough that their systems have not provided solutions to peoples financial and economic needs but why must they interfere with individuals source of income at every end.

Tax is a welcome idea in countries where these funds are been properly utilize to provide the necessary social amenities for its citizens.

But if every income is meant to be taxed should entrepreneurs and people working outside the government circles be made to pay tax as well.

Remember that before an individual sets up a business he/she sourced for funds without the government assistance and struggled to push through the market and before successful, is it right do government to tax businesses it has never supported.

Why is crypto trading taxed?

Imagine when you can earn hive for free and then at the point of withdrawal you have to pay heavy fees for this free hard earned money?
Could it be that tax is not paid for every kind of trade but on some specific ones where you made some percentage gains?.

I hope that government interference in decentralized economies coming as tax or whatever form never get to weaken the hands if crypto investors because left to the government alone blockchain like hive and hive users must pay tax on every of their earnings, all blog to earn platforms may never come as free and the circle to accumulate enough funds into government pockets will be a continued circle.

If you convert them into fiat money. It creates an income event, then you need to pay tax on a portion of this income.
