My today needle work on how I reupholst an Hilux seat

welcome to my blog

Good morning my follow bloggers, how are you all doing this morning,i hope you all have a restful night, I hope you get every day health and creativity, I am excited to tell you that I am currently carrying out a new project that has led me to learn new things every day.

Although this week is very bored no too much work because here we are in rain seasons and it rain everyday.
Today I am sharing with you all how I transform and Hilux seat to look need and nice. This project took my two days to complete it. Do well to continue reading through thanks.

New look of my seat

Old look

So to proceed to the steps I follow the first I do was to go to the market with my old peaces to purchase a new fabric that match with the old one. Here is the fabric we are using for today project.

After that I now loose my seat out seperate for easy measurement with the help of my working tools ie spanners.

After that I now use my chuck and my sewing tape to take the vertical and horizontal length of each joining point on the seat. And then measure it out on my new fabric and cut it out for my new pattern.

After cutting the out I now form my new pattern by placing the new fabric at it exactly position I measure out and then draw out my pattern. After drawing out my pattern I now place my pattern on a half inches form and the gum it together

Then I cut them out for sewing.

I now carefully use my sewing machine with the old seat beside me, join my pattern together to form my new seat cover.

After sewing it I now clip the new cover to my seat and I have this

I did the same to the back side

Here is the outcome.

The seat was two of them the driver and the passenger side. So I do same to my other seat and I finally took a picture of both of them.

This look beautiful. And that mark out the old of my projects. Thanks for going through, please do well to comment on my work, I love you all thanks. @mosesessien
