Today is Monday and I am here to share to you all my today needle work on how to cut and sew a BMW front seat with some simple steps. This is really interested, if you go through my previous post you will get to learn more about how to reupholst a car seat. Please try to go through and appreciate this post

Before embarking on the replacement of you car seat the are some material and tools you need to make it works.

Tools used

• screwdriver
• socket wrench set
• Handheld pry tool
• scissor
• sewing Machine
• staple hook
• marker

MATERIAL NEEDED

• Car upholstery specific thread
  -Replacement seat material

Steps follow to replace a car seat upholstery:

Before upholstery any car seat the are some steps you need to follow that will make you achieve a clean work. I will use photos to discribe some of my steps.

step 1

Purchase replacement seat upholstery : this is the first thing u consider first, the material you are using and the colour which have to match with the other car interior. In this tutorial this is the material we are using.

step 2

Detach out the car seat from the car : In this step you detach out the car seat base from the floor using appropriate socket wrench and remember all electric connector on the seat and to it to workshop.

Detach out the seat base from the frame : For easy upholstery we detach out the seat from the frame (separate the seat from the back) and carefully detach the side clips hold

step 4

Taking of measurement: The next step is to take the measurement of the seat following the old pattern

Cutting the upholstery material : After taking the measurement you now transfer it to your material and then cut it out with the help of scissor

step 6

Triming and forming: in the stage you now place you cut material on the old seat with the help of marker you trim it exactly has it is in the old seat and then use one inches form and gum it together there after u cut it out.

Sewing the new upholstery material: with the help of your sewing machine you now join the material that was form and sew it exactly has the old one

Reupholster process: after sewing you upholstery material we now replace the now material to make the work look good. Before we do that we have to remove the inner clips to enable us Detach out the old fabric

After that you clip the new material to the seat

Detach back the seat: this is the last step, you finally tide back the seat together and here is the final result
