THE WAY THROUGH ;

Not that far from my house as I decided to walk through to the local market thereby and get some food stuffs. Though a little bit closer to my church.

UNVEILING OF THE ITEMS

Taking a good look at this is the crayfish I love eating because of the taste that comes with it. Noticeable is the fact that it is divided into segments and the prices not just funny again as its quite on the high side, but we would survive.

Followed by is the red oil. Arranged in different containers signifies the different price tags as it all depends on which one can go for.

Called the water leaf. Not yet arranged in price tags as it should. I came quite early just to have the first round of every of the items I needed. Not that costly as this is the season of its harvest.

Very sweet and delicious. Its commonly called smoked fish but the fingerlings. Of course there is a small increment in its normal price.

Your market seems like it is a nice market. You don't really mention prices, but, you don't seem alarmed by them, so I will guess they are not too bad. Did you buy anything or did you just go to check out the market? Was your palm oil high? Most people say it is really high. Did you buy the pumpkin seeds for soup? Did you get them ground? Some of the things people reading may want to know. :)

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
