Golem Overlord Surpassed 6k Active Players

The Golem Overlord wind has been blowing in Hive for a while. The game is only three weeks old and has become a phenomenon lately. The interest in the game increased so much that Golem Overlord's token(Part) rose to the top of the Hive Engine in transaction volume.

I joined the game three days ago and earned around 50 Hive by paying only the initial fee. In the meantime, I've done a lot of upgrades to my account. New participation decreased compared to a few days ago. I thought this would cause a decline in the Part token's price, but the price continues to rise.

Golem Overlord is inspired by Terracore, which was launched last month. In both games, players are mining in a dystopian environment. We can also steal mined tokens from other players, and we try to protect our accounts against theft. Golem Overlord has many additional features that Terracore does not have. For example, Golem Overlord has two tokens: Part and Shard. The Shard will be used to buy Golem Crates in the future. Also, the game has mechanisms that encourage token burning. Below is the screenshot of the main screen of the game.

Tips & Tactics

What can we do to earn more Parts in Golem Overlord? One point that I consider important is that the burn/total claim ratio should stay within 25%. If the burn ratio is insufficient, the claim rate, which appears as 100% in the panel at the bottom of the screen, decreases gradually.

When we use at least 25% of the Part tokens we claim for upgrades and stakes, our account gets more robust, and our claim rate stays at 100%.

The upgrades should be balanced because the investment required increases exponentially as the levels increase. Thus, we can profit from both mining and looting. It seems logical that our fortification level is above the rest, as strong defense discourages opponents from attacking. What Sun Zhu said: It's best to win without fighting.

We can make a claim every eight hours. So I execute the attacks just before the claim. Using the opposite of this tactic makes sense if our defenses are strong enough. Because in case of defeat, we lose ten percent of the Part amount waiting to be claimed. I still prefer to make attacks before the claim. Because as the number of Parts in the account increases, the appetite of the competitors increases, and they are more willing to take risks.

It might also be a good idea to take advantage of the promotions in the game. For example, Algorithm upgrade increases mining performance by 50% more than usual today.

Sustainability

Golem Overlord has shown outstanding financial performance, generating high returns for its investors. 6304 people played the game in the last 24 hours. The success of Golem Overlords becomes clear when we compare it with the following statistics produced by @arcange.

Will the high performance of the Golem Overlord last? Or will the price decrease over time, and people get bored of the game? I am still trying to figure out the answer to this question. There's always room for surprises in crypto. So I hope Golem Overlord continues its success. If the excitement it creates increases, it will benefit the entire Hive ecosystem.

We know that the development activities for the game continue. Golem Crates will be available in the coming days. There are 45 guilds formed within the game's scope, which is increasing rapidly. Players may have new ideas to suggest for the game.

The high amount of incentives offered to the players has a share in the game's popularity. For example, due to my claim this morning, I won 9 Parts. Therefore, due to a single claim, I have earned as much as the entrance fee of 20 Hive that I paid for the game.

The incentives that increase with the price allow the game to be talked about. Thus, new users come, and the price rises even more. In addition, existing users are making additional investments in line with the "trend is your friend" motto. The price will start to drop at some point, but it's hard to predict when that will happen.

TL;DR

We're still at an early stage with the Golem Overlord. The game may become more sophisticated, or the number of users may decrease. One of the factors that makes crypto attractive is this uncertainty. Golem Overlord has nothing less than dog coins that make 1000x; it has even more. The game is worth a try.

Loot of 2 Parts out of 7 is normal. We can steal from others to compansate. The solution is to upgrade Fortification and Power and claim as soon as possible.

Nice post about the game and I have also joined 2 days back. I see that there is a lot of hype these days it might grow in coming days which will make the part value grow. I am looted everytime and mostly I am not able to keep up with 8 hrs of claim window. Trying to grow my fortification level.

I think it's a great stat as this early stage of the game. It is competitive enough and there's something substantial to it. I hope it becomes big!
