What's Up With Hive?

I planned to write an article on exponential change today but realized I needed more inspiration and energy to write on that topic. Therefore, in this blog post, I will discuss the Hive projects I am busy with.

Serfdom & Sorcery

The PsyberX team recently announced Serfdom & Sorcery, Hive's first Discord game. I didn't show interest in the game in the early days, but the airdrop, which I took advantage of as PSYberX land owner, made me change my decision. Thanks to airdrop, I have five farms. In addition, I have claimed 100k DBLN tokens. When I had the digital assets I mentioned, I felt compelled to use them. Nowadays, I do a lot of mining, farming, and monster hunting. For now, I am not bored with these activities; on the contrary, I like them. Some of the commands used in the game are listed below.

Splinterlands Anti-Bot Voting

A vote is taking place in Splinterlands to limit the use of bots to the Wild format. If the proposal is accepted, bots in the Modern format will be banned. I've been using Xbot in the Modern version for a few weeks. The proposal will be accepted, and I can no longer use Xbot. Despite this, I also supported the proposal because it will be good for Splinterlands to provide clarity on bots. For now, I plan to continue with the Modern version. Untamed cards will not be usable in the Modern version when the new card set is activated. At that time, I plan to switch to the Wild version. I'll start using Xbot again.

Splinterlands Season Chests

As part of the Splinterlands end-of-season awards, I opened 103 championship chests. The only newsworthy prize was a legendary gold card. My SPS rewards could have been better. I won a total of $63 in prize money for the season. This amount barely covers my card rent. Luckily there are a lot of soulbound cards I've earned. Upgrading my soulbound cards is an activity I enjoy. About half of these cards have reached the Gold League level. It would be nice to have more legendary cards up to level three. Because I'm fighting in the gold league in brawls, soulbound cards are beneficial for me.

There has been a weak course in the altcoin market in recent weeks. SPS is also affected by this course. The cards I have accumulated this year will find their actual value in 2024.

Crypto Market

The long-awaited FED meeting will be held tomorrow. Everyone agrees on the 25 basis point rate hike. The most important thing is whether the FED will continue to raise interest rates in June. Will there be any clarity in the market about this tomorrow? The FED will not want enthusiasm in the market. Therefore, we must wait until June 14 for the interest rate hike to become apparent. I think the Fed's rate hike tomorrow will be the last one. If it is announced that the interest rate increase ends in June, a movement may start in altcoins at the end of summer. Even mediocre projects will begin to look more attractive to us once the money flows into the market. The Hive ecosystem has evolved a lot during the bear market and continues to grow. When the money is plentiful, the Hive will be positively differentiated. Thus, we will see the true potential of the Hive ecosystem.

TL;DR

In the '90s, when I started working at İşbank, our board of directors chairman was 85 years old. He once said, "Without activity, there is no profit," based on 60 years of business experience. There is plenty of activity in the Hive ecosystem. For profit, I guess we have to wait a little longer.
