Hello everyone!

This week I bring you a new battle for the weekly challenge, this time we had to place in our team the Centaur, which belongs to the Beta edition, a neutral ranged attack card, with 4 points of mana, 4 points of life and 3 points of speed, with an attack of 1 and added to this, the ability Snipe, which makes it a very versatile and very useful card that can be used combined with any other element.

For this battle I used a golden Centaur of level 4 that I have among my cards, being golden it increases its attack to 2 and its speed to 4 points, although in this battle that didn't work because the summoner that I have limits it to be of level 1.

So, let's start the battle.

As it was a Bronze battle there were not many rules in the game, except for the 19 point mana and that the Splinter Dragon was forbidden. It was time to send the team.

  • Kelya Frendul

    • I chose Kelya because her combination of skills suited the Centaur very well, that extra point of speed plus that shield point works very well for almost everything.
  • Djinn Oshannus

    • Oshannus is one of my favorite tanks, thanks to Kelya he has 6 points of speed in bronze, where it is perhaps the most important statistic, he is also strong against magic but against the other two types of attacks he also defends well, and even more so with the summoner's shield.
  • Merdaali Guardian

    • Merdaali's mission was simple but very important, to keep the Oshannus alive as long as possible. Merdaali's mission was simple but very important, to keep the Oshannus alive as long as possible. Something I like about this card is that it has 2 speed points, so it will almost always be one of the last ones to activate its effect, which makes it useful from turn 1.
  • Centaur

    • I included the Centaur because with its Snipe ability and increased speed, it was going to be one of the first to attack and while the opposing team was concentrating on the Oshannus, the Centaur was going to be chipping away at the enemy lines.

Round 1

My opponent lined up Pyre to compete with my speed, which suited me perfectly because of the Merdaali's strategy, Oshannus was the first to attack and the Centaur took out the first monster of the battle, his Spark Pixies.

Round 2

centaur batalla 1.png

This Round was very important as both Centaur and Merdaali did their part in the teamwork, healing the Oshannus and decimating the enemy lines, by the next round the battle would have been decided.

In the final round, Oshannus finished with his Golem while the Centaur finished with his Goblin Fireballer, one of the cards that was left out in the new format, by the way, the Serpentine Spy was in first position without any chance, since the first attack that hit him would finish him, because he has very little life, the Spy fell, and the victory was mine.

With the inclusion of Chaos Legion, battles have become much more strategic now, any combination can be powerful if used well, and that undoubtedly gives a plus to the game. This Centaur should go great with General Sloan, for example, which increases the ranged attack, or to combine it with Water or Earth, where there are not many options with Snipe among the free cards.
