5 minute freewrite Friday prompt cave drawings

This is my post for #freewriters Friday prompt cave drawings hosted by @mariannewest

Can you imagine what your life would be like if you were a caveman or woman? We take for granted all of the comforts in today's world. If you were born in Florida, you would not have a cave to live in, you would have a thatched hut. You would not be able to leave a note because there are no caves for the cave drawings.

I believe humans were here when the dinosaurs were here but our bones were so small, they deteriorated over time. Can you imagine coming across an armadillo the size of a Volkswagon bug? Maybe the people that were here rode them. After leaving his cave drawings that said "honey, I went to the river to fish", he harnessed his armadillo and sat on the top of its shell, and held on.

One turtle could feed the entire tribe, then they could use the shell for a boat. I bet you could fit 4 or more people in its upside down shell.

Then there were the creatures that wanted to eat you and there were lots of them.

If they did not want to eat you, there were the ones that could crush you with one wrong step.

Would you dare to go swimming with sharks the size of a school bus? I bet the fishing was good but it would be pretty scary trying to catch them.

Going back that far is too far back for me, I want to go back to the 1960s, that was my happy time, but I want to go back, knowing what I now know. Now that would be nice.

I never had any desire to go there but my son was living in NJ and he took me there, it was awesome. I would love to do it again.

Well I guess if I lived in FLorida at that time, I would be really terrified of huge alligators.

I was very amused imagining you hunting like a cavewoman my friend, and preparing a grilled mammoth leg for dinner hahaha.

That museum was something spectacular, I think every species that there is and ever was, was there. If you ever get the chance, go.
