Adding POSH to my crypto income streams

avatar

Tell me what you want, what you really really want. Those are the infamous words that come to mind when you think of POSH.

Posh Spice was supposedly the posh one from the infamous Britgirl group the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls were seemingly adored across the world by women everywhere, but for most men, they are a walking headache.

Arguably they have produced some of the most irritating songs and videos ever conceived and if it wasn't for Bryan Adams topping the charts for 6 months with his paracetamol-chomping hit "I will always love you", the Spice Girls would be right up there with the top spot of the worlds most annoying songs.

It is therefore very lucky that Posh Spice isn't endorsing the POSH token then which actually stands for Proof Of SHaring.

There are 2 ways to earn POSH tokens. The first method is that you can delegate Hive Power to @poshtoken on Hive and receive part of the daily 20% POSH token payouts.

The 2nd way is to earn them by promoting posts on Twitter. There is a bot that will scan tweets for the #hive or $hive keyword and then leave a comment on the post on Hive. This will then be marked down to earn the user POSH tokens.

So far I've mostly just been promoting my own posts on Twitter but this doesn't earn you any POSH tokens. You need to tweet other user's posts to earn POSH.

I will continue to tweet my own posts but I may look to try and ramp it up a bit and look to promote a few other posts, maybe 5 or so a day if it is manageable of posts I like and increase the traffic to Hive and also earn some extra POSH tokens at the same time!

So far I have earned around 10 POSH tokens this month which is around 0,40 Hive ($0,25). Therefore if I could improve my proof of share activity, maybe this could become a good income stream and one worth developing.

Have you discovered the POSH token yet?

Thanks for reading.

LOL! Can't help but laugh with how you described the band :)
Posh token is also one that I'm also accumulating through both ways you mentioned above.

You're welcome :) And yes, I'm kind of looking forward to what Acidyo might have in store for POSH :)

but for most men, they are a walking headache.

trust me, the poshtoken bot has caused us a lot of headache as well :p but it's working somewhat properly now and improving every week.

It is therefore very lucky that Posh Spice isn't endorsing the POSH token then which actually stands for Proof Of SHaring.

When choosing the acronym I didn't really want to go for PoS as it's known for proof of staking and since posh doesn't have the usual staking form it didn't make much sense at the same time POS is also an acronym for piece of shit so figured I'd let the community decide if that's what they thought of the token on their own. :p

Thanks for sharing how you came up with POSH. I didn't realise POSH wasn't such a well-known term but I think it works well with the H as it reinforces the SHaring part of the token!

I can imagine the work that has gone into the bot and I've noticed over the last weeks great improvements in the project and am excited at where it can go in addition to creating more funnels to Hive.

I must've thought wrong by thinking you can only share your own post on Twitter to earn posh, now I know why I don't earn any posh token. It'll be a good idea to post other users blogs on Twitter.

I think many only tweet their own post but it'll do Hive a great deal of organic marketing if everyone tweet and retweet others authors article on their timeline, it's all a win for for both.

I was wondering also why I wasn't earning too much POSH, but sometimes I retweeted others' posts and the rewards were really good.

I will retweet only a few good posts a day though as I don't want to spam my timeline there.

We discussed the new rules on discord and it was a bit confusing. Everyone had a different idea how it works. 😅 But we could figure it out at the end.
I love POSH and how it incentivizes sharing other people posts.
You get more if people actually like the POSH comment. That's why I always scroll a bit down after voting to see if there is a POSH comment too and vote it too.

I love the part of having to give others exposure for their content. Sharing your own is way too easy. GG to the POSH team and thank for this post. !PIZZA

The power of crypto is in the community and giving. Just by creating the POSH token, there is extra wealth and tokens generated for all!

Thought about it many times, to tell you the trough I don't like the name and the association with 'becca, but one of these days I'll have to grow up a bit more and do the right thing.

When I was in UK I remember that a lot of people were calling Victoria not only Posh but Becca or Beka as well. I'm not a fan of Victoria so the association of Posh token with her wasn't the best situation for me...

I thought they were known as Posh & Becks. Where does the Becca name come from?

I could only guess, it either had something to do with the Beckam name or maybe just making fun of her because of Rebecca Loos affair.

So how are you sharing posts on Twitter? Do you take a screenshot or copy the link into a Tweet? How do they know you've shared it? Sharing is caring.

Hi Lisa,

I just copy the url from the browser into a tweet and write a comment such as : Check this post out ...

Important is to add the #hive tag in the tweet so that the POSH bot can find it and add it to the hive post. 😀

Here is an example of 1 I did today:

image.png

Another important thing is to make sure you link your hive account to your twitter account, so that the bot can identify you easily. You can do that here: https://hiveposh.com/

All the best
Steve
