Battle Challenge - Dragons!

Hello Splinterfans!

Welcome to my entry for the Share your Battle Weekly Challenge! More details about the challenge can be found here.

This week we have the battle challenge with dragons! Some of my favorite dragons are Quix the Devious and Djinn Chwala. Both are pretty useful in the game along with the great Naga the Assassin.

I currently don't own a Quix the Devious, but it is on my wish list and I would ideally want at least a level 3 so I can play some strong cards with him. The reduced speed and ranged attack effect on your opponents is very handy!

Djinn Chwala with the thorns is one of my favorite monsters because I love thorns and a really decent health and shield score. Perfect for many types of matches. The highest I own is a level 2 gold foil, but for this battle I have rented a level 3 regular foil because it is the max level I can have with a level 2 Quix the Devious.

Currently, you can get a maxed-out level 6 Djinn Chwala gold foil for around 40k DEC ($28). That seems like a pretty good deal to me.

My Team

This is a high-level mana attack and I know this battle is going to be fun. I have opted to use Dragon with the water splinter.

Summoner/ MonsterReason
Quix the DeviousDragon
Djinn ChwalaDragon with lethal thorns
Djinn OschannusA magic attack and protection in row 2
UraeusA low mana sneak attacker
Merdaali GuardianSome heal for my Dragon
Venari WavesmithSome extra shield for thorns on my Dragon
Pelacor BanditSome more sneak attack and I hope he will dodge some attacks with his flying ability

Battle

The rules for the battle are:

Silenced Summoners - Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
Stampede - The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

Summary:

You will need to watch the video to find out the result, but I am getting more impressed with Pelacor Bandit each time I use him and am happy that I have him at max level.

Was it the right decision to include a healer instead of some extra maybe sneak attack from Dhampir Infiltrator? What would you have done?

Thanks for reading.

I do love Djinn Chwala but then I love the thorns from Earth...
Good battle though Steve!

I forgot when was the last time I played the game. I don't have that many cards, so there is no reward I can get from the fight.

good game you have there my friend.

Good lineup, that is hard to beat with only 34 mana and no summoner buffs.

In your case, yes, but only if you knew for sure this enemy lineup. In other cases, I would do the same to treat a slow tank.
