Hello Everyone,

Welcome to this week's Ecency Discord Posting Topic.

The summer has started and with the better weather, people are now starting to travel around more visiting different places. Quite popular are to do short city visits and explore a new place to see some sights, mueseums or try some local cuisine.

A city that I liked to visit was London where there is often lots of things going on and it is great to catch a show at the West End or eat out in a nice restaurant. There are plenty of sights to see what with the various galleries and palaces around.

As we are a world-wide community, perhaps you have a favorite city that you want to tell us about? Have you visited it in the past, will visit it soon or its on your bucket list to visit?

FAVOURITE CITY

As is usual with the Ecency Discord Topic, you are free to approach this as you like. This could be through writing a story, sharing your thoughts, taking some photos, or producing some art.

Here are a few ideas to inspire you:

  • Do you have a favourite city? Have you visited it or lived there?
  • Why do you like this city?
  • What things are there to do there?
  • What things do you like to do there?
  • How would you spend time there?
  • What is your favourite place in the city?
  • What is your favourite restaurant or food in the city?
  • Who do you go with or spend time there with?
  • Do you have any favourite photos from there?

Feel free to let your imagination flow and use another aspect that you can think of.

The exception is German, still, a post in only German is allowed. But because of the low interest from the German-speaking community the #edtopic explanation post will be only in English.
Nevertheless, I would still be very happy about more participants from the DACH.

No need to mention that it should be your own content and please always source your own or free-to-use photos properly.

Great job mate, i spent several years homeless in the West End of London in my younger days and even though it was not the ideal situation to be in London in this way, the West End in particular is still one of my most favourite places. 😎

For all the reasons you said plus there is never a dull moment in The West End it is 24/7 !ALIVE 🤣

So far, there is no absolute favourite city to me, among the cities I have visited so far in two countries (Bangladesh and Oman). I have never visited any cities from the "developed countries".

However, we need to make our living city the favourite one, just for mental satisfaction :)
