My Crypto Earnings in May

avatar

Crypto Earnings2.jpg

May was a crazy long month with much action in the crypto space with stable coin holders getting rekt, Altcoins getting rekt and Bitcoin still firmly in the driving seat.

All the while I was working towards my 2ETH per month goal and I now get to have a look at the numbers and put some words behind them to review what happened and compare this to my strategy.

A new entry this month is Dreemport. Here you can earn DREEM tokens for curation and submitting writing for review. I have made a start last month and it is nice to review 5 articles per day for curation and I try to submit 2 or 3 articles per week that might be up to the standards required here.

linearrow.png

Let's get started.

This month I have been active in the following platforms and collected the cryptos:

Blogging
Publish0x (STA, AMPL)
Hive (Hive)
Read.cash (BitcoinCash)
Dreemport (DREEM)

Socials
Noise.cash (BitcoinCash)
Torum (XTM)
LunarCrush (Lunr) - given up on.

Staking, Cashback, Interest
Crypto.com (CRO)
HBD

Surfing/Search
Brave (BAT) - given up on
Presearch (PRE)

Blockchain Email Marketing
ListNerds (Listnerds, CTP)

Blogging

Publish0x

My third full month on Publish0x is completed and it has been a bit up and down as you can see with my results below.

image.png

source

There was a couple of days where the site seemed to be ddos'd again and i had some lower views. But also generally I have written more Hive related articles compared to previously and this is probably not so interesting for the Publish0x audience.

ce1.jpg

Even so, I like writing on Publish0x as it gives a good gauge of your writing and allows for feedback and to earn some extra crypto. This month I had increased earnings than usual as I was in the first prize list for the Uplands competition and won $50 prize.

Therefore, you can see that the collapse in Statera has lowered the earning by nearly half as the token has become almost worthless. This is a shame and it would be good if they would replace this tipping token.

My follower count is steadily increasing and I am generally happy with my progress but this is a good motivator to try and improve my articles for the future.

Statera=400,1643
Ample=8,0489
ETH=0,02567687

Publish0x total = €57,86

linearrow.png

Read.Cash

This is now my third full month on read.cash and I have published an article every day. I gained 11 subscribers in May and also my first sponsor.

I earned 0.18733430 BCH in May which is €32,41 which is a slight improvement over last month. I did however withdraw some of the earnings to a wrong account and it is lost. It was around €5.

Read.cash Total = €32,41

linearrow.png

Hive
This month I have been publishing usually 2 articles a day and have increased my engagement with curation and commenting. Alot of my growth has come from increased curation because of my power-ups. My authorship values are quite flat.

Hive = 147,83 Hive and 58,37 HBD ($133,53)

Hive-Engine = 57,62 Hive (€28,02)

Hive Total = €125,34 + €28,02 = €153,36

ce2.jpg

linearrow.png

Dreemport

This was my first month on Dreemport and I am still getting used to the site. It has a very friendly admin team who has helped me get settled and given tips to improve posts to ensure compliance with copyright and other topics.

Here you are mainly driving traffic to your posts and doing some curation. You curate 5 articles per day and rank them in order of writing quality. This is also great to help you think about improving your own writing skills.

I have been rewarded with DREEM tokens that are available on the Hive-Engine and they have a best ask price of 0,01 Hive currently. They could be worth more in the future as the project grows. Currently I'm not sure what to do with the tokens so have sold them initially, but may reconsider that and hodl them for the future.

In May I earned 270 DREEM tokens. I hope this number will grow for June.

270 DREEM = 2,7 Hive

Dreemport Total = €1,31

I put this in just for reference but will not include in the total figures as I think it is double counting the Hive-Engine income from above.

Blogging Total = €215,61 (+40,9%) vs €152,97 last month.

linearrow.png

Socials

Noise.cash

Noise.cash is an alternative to Twitter and it is my third full month on the platform. This month I have gained an extra 16 followers and now have 37. I earned 0.03562385 BCH which was my best month yet.

I am usually just posting once or twice per day so that I don't spam.

Noise.cash Total = €6,16

linearrow.png

Torum

With Torum I have been active every day and collecting the XTM. There is a withdrawal restriction until you reach 500 XTM. So far I have 58 followers and earned 27,81 XTM vs 39.69 XTM in April.

My earned XTM is lower than last month but also the XTM value has continued to collapse so my earnings are only 25% of last month.

I haven't really spent much time getting to know Torum, but there doesn't seem to be much opportunity there although it seems quite active. I am closely monitoring if I will discontinue here and focus my efforts elsewhere where it could be more productive.

Torum Total = €0,96

linearrow.png

LunarCrush

With the very low returns and not such good reward system, I have decided to abandon Lunarcrush.

Socials Total = €7,06

linearrow.png

Staking & Cashback

Crypto.com

I don't really have much crypto staked, so the earnings are quite low. From next month I will have currently 0 staked, so may not get any interest. I have also stopped using the cashback card with the reduced rewards make it less attractive. I am sitting on some heavy losses from the collapse in CRO price. I will need to do some serious hodling there to recover, but I have a plan to stake my CRO in defi for 12% returns to attempt that.

I got my first HBD interest payment and I can see by the accrued amount that next month it will be twice as much, so that is some great growth!

BTC Total = 0,00001936 (€0,54)

CRO Cashback = 10,2912 CRO (€1,74)

HBD Interest = 0,990 HBD (Accrued is 1,775 HBD) (€0,93)

Total Staking/Rewards = €3,21

linearrow.png

Surfing & Search

Presearch

It is my fourth month using Presearch. This month I used Presearch a bit and my PRE amount earned was double from last month. My PRE balance is 107,36 (+34,84). I'm unsure whether I should also count this as income just yet because of the 1000 PRE withdrawal limit and the unknown gas fees to withdraw. Probably it will take me at least 1 or 2 years to get to 1000 PRE.

Despite some dips in the market, PRE has remained relatively stable and my earnings increased nicely from last month.

Presearch Total = 34,84 PRE = €3,38

linearrow.png

Brave

As the value of BAT is so low and I have not used the Brave browser very much, I have given up to collect BAT right now.

BAT Total = 0 BAT

As the surfing and search values are so low, I'm not sure that I will continue them on into the future months and instead focus my energies elsewhere.

Total Surfing/Search €3,38

linearrow.png

Blockchain Email Marketing

ListNerds

Another month is passed and it was my first month as a premium subscriber to ListNerds. It was a pretty good month with lots of learnings and this month I have decided to upgrade to the Enterprise level. It's a really big move as you need to send 2 mails a day and I don't come from any marketing background.

What I like about it though is that it is more content marketing and great to promote your own blog. Whether I will manage that in May, I will find out!!

I needed to invest $97 for the premium membership but I hope that it will give my ListNerds earnings a nice boost. So my path was 1st month as free member, 2nd month as premium member and now I've gone for the top subscription package for my 3rd month!

There is a 10 week unstaking period before your Listnerds tokens become liquid and you can sell them. So far I have

In April I have earned 1650.493 ListNerds tokens which require 10 weeks to unstake them before you can sell them. At the moment I leave them staked and earning more ListNerd tokens.

The lowest bidprice for Listnerds tokens is 1,5 Hive on the Hive-Engine but whether that price will still be available if I unstake some tokens is not clear yet. I am cautious to put a value on the tokens at the moment, but they could be theoretically worth 2475 Hive or €1184 which is a pretty good stake.

As the tokens require unstaking and the price is unclear, I will only include the value of ListNerds that I have actually made liquid in my earnings. So the bag value can act as an accrual until then.

ListNerds earned value in May based on highest asks price Total : €1184
ListNerds sold: €0

linearrow.png

Summary

May Crypto earnings total = €257,28 vs €291,35 last month.

That's my total crypto earnings in May. Not bad for my fifth month and a nice accrual is building in ListNerds.

I need to also consider my costs and that was 30 Hive (€14,59) to pay for ListNerds in May. In June this will be much higher with the Enterprise subscription.

My goal is to earn 2ETH per month @ €1704 vs €2624 last month. My goal is getting easier with the falling price of ETH. This means I am now 7,5% towards completing this goal vs 5,6% last month. Hopefully the progression will keep growing.

How was your May?

Thanks for reading and I hope it inspires you on a journey to crypto-financial freedom too!

Thanks for sharing. It's always interesting to see how others are performing across a range of platforms. I hadn't seen anything about ListNerds before, so will be taking a look at that.

Glad to share my progress. It has helped me when others have done the same.

Good luck with trying ListNerds, they have a free version to start with which is great to learn the ropes with. 🙂

I just joined ListNerd. It all looks very tempting, but I also doubt that the token will be worth 1.5 Hive in the future. But we'll see).

I think it will probably depend on what use case is needed once the airdrop finishes. But I don't count them until they are liquid makes sense.

Good luck with your stacking on ListNerds, I will look out for your mails. 🙂

My May was not bad if I quickly do the math:
60 Hive
75 Noise
1.60 Torum
1.60 BAT
1 Presearch
8 Staking Cake Defi
0.5 Staking celsius
0.5 Staking Bitvavo
85 Readcash
15 Publish

So that´s close to $250 and that is without trading (which I do very little of due to the current market) Thanks for making me do the math !CTP

Man, that is almost like a full time job all of the stuff you have going on there. I really respect your hustle! I try to do what I can while juggling my full time job, but that is absolute next level! Nice job on everything you are accomplishing! Came here via listnerds!

Some pretty good numbers there. Your listnerds result is really impressive. I've only just started with listnerds, so will see how it goes. I dont know if you like gaming or not, but if you do I'd recommend Rising Star on Hive Blockchain. I got around $60 from it this month, and what I like about it is that you can set it off on a task and then forget about it for hours - its does not need constant attention like some other games. Plus its actually quite a good game - I love the card collecting side of it.

I also use Nexo for crytpo hodling - some quite nice interest rates on there - it might be worth checking out.

Cheers, Hoosie

Thanks for the tips! I'm still looking for my first venture in Play2Earn and that could be a good one!

I will take another look at Nexo too, was thinking to lay low out of CEFI with my BTC for a while.

Wow, you're one busy bee!
To me, Hive and Listnerds is almost a full time job LOL, so let alone doing anything else.
Although I have accounts in some of those.
The only account I was actually planning of using in the near future was Flote, and it's not on your list hehe.

I've used Presearch pretty much from its start, and never took anything out (which I probably should have done) so that's been accumulating nicely for me.
I still use Brave too, also from the beginning but that's less successful.

Had a PublishOX account for ages, and never published anything there!
I haven't heard of some of the others mentioned, so I'm going to check those.
Although I'm pretty sure I won't have the time to actually use them hehe.

Thanks for sharing!

It certainly starts to feel like a full-time job after a while! lol

Thanks for the tip with Flote. The other platforms I was looking at were Bastyon and Blurt, but I don't think I will manage it. I am also registered for yup.io but I'm not sure how its working so far!

Thanks for dropping by.
