Annoying mess that I needed to also clean up

Hello My Green-Fingered Friends,

I am back with another garden update. The last time you saw how I packed everything away ready for the winter time and some of my fence. This time I am back with some new developments.

The weather has been so warm and mild that my grass has been growing like crazy. We even had plenty of rain and you can see how long my grass is and also plenty of mushrooms have been showing up again.

Therefore, I had to open things up again in the garden and give the grass what should be the final mowing before spring. I needed to charge the batteries up once more and then get mowing. There was quite a bit of grass to dispose of and you can see from the photos how much it had grown.

What is quite annoying when cutting the grass is that it goes all over my terrace as you can see in the last photo.

After cutting the grass I packed everything safely away again for the winter. Sometimes we can have some strong windy days, so everything needs to be secure and packed away.

That's it for this update, until next time, thanks for reading.

It does require some care to look after. Flowers are nice, I am considering a flower bed in the spring, but i have a long to-do list! !CTP

you could make the outside of your lawn wild meadow , meaning you will have flowers and only need to maw that part once a year 🙂

This garden is well organised, I can play golf here.
I always cherish a neatly arranged garden.
The grass is very green and beautiful.

You did great work here, well done

Your lawn looks very healthy, Steve, especially for November.
About half of my lawn is dormant, and the other half is still growing.
I will likely need to mow one more time this season. That is not really uncommon in Tennessee, especially with the rain and warm days we have been having.

thanks for the feedback John. Nice to see your lawn, do you have to spend long mowing?

I have a couple of troublesome spots, but hope it will fully recover by spring.

I have just around an acre.
It takes me about an hour with the zero-turn.

The carpet grasses always need lots of care to avoid it being a hideout. You did lots of work, I know you will enjoy the serenity more now.

That is quite the lawnmower not what were use to here in Canada.Your grass really took off in that time frame.Did you dig out the mushrooms before you cut the grass?Just a suggestion.

I'm usually removing them one by one from the roots. We have smaller gardens usually here in Germany. Do you have a larger mower?
