Good old days of Steem telling me good Hive years are ahead

I’m just got caught up with some errands today, so I didn’t have much time to engage or write a long content. However I thought I could write a little post.

While I was trying to answer one question that asked via comment on my post, I had to search Coinbase on PeakD.com to find articles that written about Coinbase listing of Hive.

There is this post published on October 2018 with more than 4000 upvotes and earning more than $500 worth of $Steem

There is this post by Crypto0 (Omar) who is a crypto influencer was creating daily contents not so long ago.

Lastly I found another crypto influencer called BoxMining who also earned huge amounts by creating crypto related contents with Steem.

Unfortunately steem hostile takeover happened just before the 2020 bull run and our community lost our brand and had to rebuilt our ecosystem.

I strongly feel the good old days of steem is coming back to Hive very soon.

Higher Hive price will bring many old Steem people back to Hive and will attract many newbies to Web3.

I think we should run Twitter campaign to list hive in coinbase. If community does it together then hopefully coinbase notice. What you say brother?

We went through an extremely challenging period with steem hostile takeover and rebuilding Hive. And the good times are ahead for our community.

Hive good days is near, I believe old steem users will come back. I just wished they all join for good reasons to develop the community. Let get hive listed on coinbase

Thanks for all that you do Nathan to help foster community engagement. With the recent rise in the HIVE price, we've seen a number of who left when the price was low, return. The hope is that they'll remain this time and help build the place. We need all hands on deck for the exciting days ahead.

In any complex ecosystem like Hive there will always be builders and takers. We just need to make sure we empower builders, hustlers and creators.

You are right. Recently, some people have been moving to HIVE. I also think that the good old quality of Steem might integrate into HIVE.

I already notice few of the old jser start blogging on Hive that might be a good indication to see HIVE making waves on steem too and onboard its user.

I wasn't part of steem but alot have been said about which means it was actually a functioning ecosystem and now is hive,I actually feel the same way you feel because I can see a lot of feature potential on hive but in achieving or making hive listed on coinbase will take alot of effort by the community.with hardwork on every one's part we can get hive listed on coinbase.

I think in 2022 we need to build the Hive brand. It's not easy given how generic the name is that can be confused with other things. According to Alexa stats St--mit and even Minds are doing much better than any Hive dapp, apart from Splinterlands of course. We need more incoming links from other platforms and some actual marketing. I know some people are working on the latter.

We also need realistic expectations of rewards. Few people will make hundreds of dollars, but everyone has a chance to earn something.

The next two years are key for Hive. Something like coinbase listing can massively help us to build hive brand.

We just need another killer dapp like Splinterlands. I feel it's better to build the brands like 3Speak, LeoFinace and inji.com rather than building hive brand alone.

We also need realistic expectations of rewards.

Conisestly and engagements are key for remwards. Also there are many ways to earn rewards with Hive specially owning digital asset via NFTs.

I've heard other people say we should market the dapps, but we need people to be aware they run on a common platform and that having an account on any one gives access to all. People will have more than one interest.

I am totally interested in building the hive brand.. This is a great idea. We all need to grind harder to make sure hives use case is unbearable.

I totally agree.

We should get to the point where people want to advertise their stuff on hive the way they do on Facebook.

It is a fact that many people will be attracted to Hive because of the high price of Hive and because it is based on Web-3 and because of the security of their ID for Web-3 users many people will be attracted to Hive.

I really do think we should get Hive listed on Coinbase or Kraken.

Not sure what criteria required though. I heard some exchanges require you to pay for a listing.

I have a feeling those people will probably come over eventually since the development there is lacking. After all it's hard to ignore the price when the fundamentals underneath back it.

I did not join Hive until Feb or 2021. I do not know about the early days. Although I have heard word-of-mouth fragments.
There was Hive everything was going great and then the price surged to $8, and some Steem was not honored, then the Hard fork and boom here is Hive.
It would be great to read post about the history of this Blockchain, especially for newer members like myself.
