Do you think is good idea to create a separate Hive account for LeoFinance ?

I can understand that it can be overwhelming to manage multiple accounts on Hive.

However, I felt it's super important to separate crypto content and non crypto content, unless my intention is to stick with strictly one category of content.

One of the main reasons why I decided to create @nathanmars.leo after thinking about it for a while is to encourage others to do the same if they see the benefit in it.

I'm creating some personal rules regarding how I'm going to use both of my accounts, so sticking with my rules will help me manage both accounts efficiently.

Please do check out @leo.stats where @dalz is giving us an overview of weekly leofinance stats. This report will massively help us track our target of reaching above 500 LeoFinance blogs per day.

Special Thanks to @gogreenbuddy for staking 11k Leo last week.
Special Thanks to @jfang003 for being a top account for leofinance comments.

Also, did you know?

LeoFinance has a 20% incentive for posting trough the native frontend. When users post from other frontends and just with the leofinance tag they have 20% fewer rewards.

As @taskmaster4450le pointed out

lot dont post through the Leofinance front end.

So this 20% extra reward can be one motivation for us to create from the Leofinance front end. Because I created a video for this post, unfortunately, I have to this particular post via 3Speak.tv

Bonus read and note to myself :

Be stubborn on vision. Be flexible with execution.

Community building is important and we can't do it alone.

I think it is not a bad idea but can become a huge pain. I have a leo account [Not used] as I find it hard to build one good following let alone two or 3,

I have actually been using a different account though, for weedcash curation and reviews, Tokens I find are hard as we stake 4,5,6,7, different ones it makes voting hard for sure

I guess if you posted like 5+ posts a day you would want to have more than one.

I guess many people are experiencing the same

I do have a second account for Leofinance.
But I really don't use it, which is a shame. I am just too overwhelmed at the moment to do a lot of manual curation x)

I post all my finance related post on the leo UI, plus I feel owning two account can be confusing, I might confuse my keys and this is not something I would want to actually happen.
I'm hoping the leo app for IOS will be up and running very soon, I guess it's only on android at the moment.

I can certainly understand this view.

Can’t wait for IOS LeoFinance mobile and it will make our Leo journey much better

Yeah I want that as well, because engagement and posting would be so easy and also fast as well, especially with the UI itself always lagging whenever I use it.

Terrible idea, but practically very good. Just because of the Voting Mana.

Yes it’s more practical. Just like YouTubers have additional channel, I now have an account solely for Leofinance.

How many hours a day are you keeping preoccupied for HIVE content creation?

Good question.

I’m not a typical content creator and I spend most of energy in thinking and experimenting ideas to bring value to Hive.

At the moment, Hive is my side hustle only and working towards making a main hustle.

Answer is the time I spent varies and most important thing for me is keep going and focus on things are in my control.

Io me it's important to allocate time and measure progress, as well as benchmark success in a smart way.

I've been running 3 accounts just to separate content. I've found it more time consuming and has greatly reduced my content creation. It's effect on me has reduced my inspiration to create the content and I've now stagnated.
Which is why I'm just going to ease my content all into my main account. I'm just one dude that makes content. Why do I need to have separate identities for all of it. It's all me.

But you do what works for you. And the only way for you to know that is to try.

Wishing the best for you!

Thanks you for sharing your experiences dude.

Why do I need to have separate identities for all of it. It's all me.

I thought the same, but I felt I need to challenge myself with managing multiple projects, people and tasks. So this might help me towards improving my skills.

But you do what works for you. And the only way for you to know that is to try

Also I have created an account only for Leofinance and manage my LEOs. It is necessary to concentrate my LeoPower as much as possible and reward the authors of Leofinance

I'm mainly rewarding the authors of Leofinance at the moment and having separate accounts can help me reward other Hive tribes as well going forward.

well i create one recently @nonsowrites.leo mainly for curation purposes but I am not actively curating, so I delegated my task to @brofi, I think they will do a better job curating.

I don't think it is a bad idea to create a separate account for leo but it can be difficult to manage

I learnt to separate my accounts a few months ago. It's quite helpful. Especially, if you intend on curating I also have another account for POB. . I had no idea about the 20% extra rewards from posting through the front end. I guess it makes sense now.

It might be a bit overwhelming for me personally managing multiple accounts but also a good move take provided one can manage it.

Well , I believe it all depends on how you see your account from on set. For me, while I was creating my account, I decided that this would be for all niches. However, things changes but I haven’t made that decision yet to change the type of content I post with this account.

I’d go for 1 account for all niches except you’ve got a project that will be running on Hive then you can create another acount for it.

This is something I'm considering next!

I have separate accounts for branding purposes really. the @coinlogic.online account is the one I am trying to use more with leofinance as it is the crypto talk account and the off chain site that is my crypto research site. But it's not the same account name, it's a different brand altogether.

I have only posted once about Leo related content. I am hoping to get more ideas to post there but most ideas I get are art related.
Talking about getting personal accounts for loe, I think it's a good idea cause everything about that account will be focused on finance. However, having two accounts could be complicated. More so, you might have divided followes.
Buttom line - management is key.

management is key

Because reading is my daily habit, I have so many ideas to write and more opportunities to learn

Oh, that's good to know. You probably will have to keep track of how many words you read per day😄...just joking anyway.
I am actually the opposite. Though I do read, I do spend most of my time drawing.

I think it might be a bad idea to think so. Because if you have two different account then you can't get the time to give two different time. It turns out that after opening a separate account for the curator, many people do not have a good time in both. Of course you know better than I do!

Part of being successful is about asking questions and listening to the answers.

Because everyone thinks differently it's good to ask feedback

I used to post from leofinance front-end but the problem now is my laptop is broke and I am eagerly waiting for LeoMobile to port it from there.

The only reason why I'd consider making an alternative account is curation.

I'm annoyed by keys and permissions, but hey that's just me.

My initial reason was separate content creation.

After a large amount of feedback from our community, I think I will use my alternative account mainly for curation and engagement.

Having options is healthy

I think there are advantages for doing so but I have never really bothered since I could always modify my vote multiplier to keep my voting power in check. However the new outposts have made some tribes a bit hard with just one account. It's because the vote multiplier doesn't work.

The vote multipler still works for LEO but it doesn't work on some of the tribes that moved to outpost. I think it's because they are no longer using the scot-bot

I just post from one account as it just creates extra work to manage more. The extra 20% is not going to make much difference as most of my posts are not applicable to Leo anyway. I know some people have multiple accounts to optimise their voting with tribe tokens, but I have not done that either. I do have several accounts, but they are for other reasons.

This is one of the reasons why I created @nathanmars.leo and so far it's proving that is a good choice

I just use one account for everything because it means that when I upvote I'm giving everything I have staked - neoxian, archon, creativecoin, everything is delivered with one upvote. Trying to curate with multiple accounts is too time consuming.

I can totally understand this.

IMHO, this is a good idea.
If to be more precise, I would say this way:

Not much advantage (if any) in having a separate/alternative Hive accounts, if you consider yourself mainly as content creator, and very little as curator.

VERY BIG advantage, if you do a lot of curation (like I do) and if you accumulate and stake large amounts of tokens of particular tribe.

I have created separate accounts for maybe 15+ different tribes, and never regret in doing this.

I'm creating and also curating. I'm more of a contributor type, always looking for ways to contribute to our Hive community.

One of my goals for next year is to accumulate many different hive tribe tokens.

Thank you for your valuable comment!
