Could you briefly explain to me what purpose this ETH inflation and burning is supposed to serve? I have not been fully familiar with ETH for several months. As usual, awesome post!

Eth miners are rewarded in inflation + fees. With the latest update, not all the fees go to miners, but a part of them is used to burn eth
