2 laps of Wynnum parkrun

First in my age group this morning, 19th overall, I think I got lucky as there was a couple of major events on this weekend and lots of the regular speedy Wynnum runners were absent. Still got a bit of work to do to get closer to my course PB but this morning felt good and after quickly scanning in tacked on another lap to make it 10km and beat the tail walker home.

Was trying to keep the first half under 4:30 and the second half under 5:30 per kilometre. I find it so much easy to find a rhythm and a consistent pace on a flat concrete course even with 2 dead turns.

Well done. When I finish a parkrun I need a rest before I can run any more. I probably still get home before the tail walker finishes.

It was hard to get going again, I probably had 20 seconds rest to get scanned in, luckily there was not big queue. !BEER
