ChiFibots is an upcoming game, brought to you by the founders of NFT studios and the Oneup tribe on Hive. The have been building this game for a long time and I've been watching twitter expectantly for more information on launch date.

They have finally set a roadmap for the next year and launched a pre-sale event to further these goals since yesterday.

While the game is not going to be based on hive due to their partnerships within the company, I do hope to see some cross chain action in the future. Going forward the game will be built on the lesser known. "Aspire" Network.

The game

From what I can read. The game follows in the direction of a standard card game.

Two teams of six cards.

Strategy is to beat the other team in a rock, paper, scissors format.

There are different power-ups and equipment.

Cards have different attributes.

The pre-sale has land but not sure where this will come into play.

There will be tournaments and leagues that will add more into the eco-system.

These are all long term hive users and a big part of the community who have been involved in multiple projects over the years.

I think that counts for a lot in a case like this as it's an unsecured investment into a game that hasn't been released yet. That requires a large level of trust.

For me that is not a problem and I just have to decide which tier to become a part of. I'm leaning towards Tier 5 as it comes with land and a promo key as well as a lot of card packs.

The tier below that is a bit weak. My biggest drawback is that the game is being built on Aspire and i really don't want another wallet or chain added to the mix. Hive, Wax and BSC are enough for me and it's the one thing holding me back from just buying in right now.

The team has said in multiple replies that they would hope to integrate some hive operations and build within the community going forward.

If this were true it would make the game a lot more appealing for me personally and a lot of other people from reading down through the comments section.

It's great to see more and more games coming on stream and this is one a long time in the making. The plan seems solid and the game seems standard enough for a card based blockchain game.

I would like to get involved at one level or another and will have a think about it. The team is good and they are a big part of the eco-system here. Gaming is a huge part of the future of blockchain and getting involved early is always the key to the biggest returns.

If a game gets big, you want to be in day 1. If it never takes off or reaches it's potential, That is the risk you take by jumping in at pre-sale level.
