Growing the Hive_blockchain twitter. Heading for 5k subs.
Since day one I have been preaching about our lack of marketing and the general awareness oh hive to the wider crypto audience.
We have some great people doin their part but to increase the network effect of these efforts we need to see as many people as possible doing everything that they can.
My efforts are limited but hopefully have a small effect to the wider crypto community.
I focus mainly on twitter and in the past have used the account to create partnerships with marketsquare, blockchaingaming and other crypto communities operating on twitter.
My goal for the next year is to increase the account profile on twitter to reach even more people and to expand the hive brand.
Over time all of these combined efforts will increase the network effect of hive and bring even more users and partnerships to the chain as we go forward.
A lot of the work i use the profile for is just to share interesting and relevant content form the chain to a wider audience.
Some of it however is to reply to larger crypto accounts and to push brand recognition in a polite but important way.
Every so often it even pays off.
@dappradar is a well known crypto account with 75k followers.
Here they were doing a general post about the top #dapps as they do most days.
I took the liberty of shilling @splinterlands to them in a polite and professional manner.
Not only did they like and reply to my comment but four hours later they did up a full post on the recent success of @splinterlands and addressed it straight to my account.
Talk about free marketing. Your welcome @aggroed. :D
Now it might just be coincidence but I'm claiming credit anyway.
Their post had 55 likes and 24 retweets at last view. All of this adds to our overall network effect and helps me to grow the @hive-blockchain account as it gained me a few new followers at the same time.
Road to 50k followers.
These things take time but I will keep growing daily to reach my target by next July.

Growth is exponential and at the moment my follower count has risen to 4,756 and will pass out 5,000 in the next month growing every day with 253 in the past month.

Yeah. I’m up to 11,000 followers now on Twitter. Good way to promote ProofofBrain.io too.
Those are great numbers. It takes a lot of time and effort to get those numbers in. But if we can get more and more people up to these levels it will increase the network effect overall.
Definitely. I try to share all my ProofofBrain and Blurt posts on Twitter … I am earning way more POB and Blurt these days… 750,000 so far.

I'm doing my little part in the grand scheme. The more people that we get involved the more it will pay off in the long term.
