Immortalis Airdrop - Splinterlands
One of the top perks of playing splinterlands and buying assets in the game are the constant airdrops of valuable assets.
While vouchers were a terrible idea and made shit of a lot of the the eco-system, one of the better ideas that the team had was to incentivize pack buying with regularly scheduled card airdrops as the latest set hits it's sales targets.
It incentivizes players to buy big and buy early to get the most return from their pack purchases.
Most of these airdrop cards are highly sought after and become quite valuable down the line.
Legendary summoners like Yodin, Byzantian Kitty and Prince Rennyn go for hundreds these days and were all free to the community before appearing in packs after that.
I don't think that the latest card,
Immortalis
will have the same appeal with it's average stats but free is free.
It can have it's uses in the game and the exciting part is clicking on your airdrop to see what you have gotten.

A great haul for 887 packs since I was only guaranteed 1 card from the drop but made off with three regular foil and an even rarer gold foil legendary summoner.
My last airdrop only netted one regular foil.
I won't be going to max out this card as I'm happy with my earth options for the moment so selling might be a good option to pick up more relevant cards for my deck.
I really want to buy a maxed out dr.blight at some stage as it's such a great cards in the game and this could get me started picking them up with $130 worth of airdrop cards.
Lots of good options here.
Try for yourself.
If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
Cards worth a few cents now will have a much higher value in the future as the print runs out. We have a strong community and seen this happen every time as it grows with the game.

For 887 packs you were definitely more than qualified though. Wow, 130$ I think the market has a way of rewarding people with skin and patience in the game. For my 117 packs, I didn't get any at all. Good money to spread around buying other cards. Congratulations.

Very happy with this result.
It's always nice to get something back after a lot of time and effort.
I've already sold and will look to pick up some other cards instead.

Immortalis may not be a great summoner, but it is worth buying when I compare it with the other earth summoners. Alternatives are either expensive or ineffective, especially in high mana games.

Unless your looking at llama mage for $1100 then it's much of a much. Mylor is good as well but your looking at $900.
Anything worth playing is massive money for earth compared to the other splinters alright. Not great options.

Wow, you had amazing luck. I had 500 packs qualified for the airdrop but I didn't get a single one. Chaos legion has been horrible to me for the airdrops.

That's a very nice airdrop you've got at 887 packs! At 570+870 I've got 1+1 standard.
Got very lucky with this drop. Much more than my pack purchases deserved.
