Hive will be creating some full time users at these prices.

With the recent rise in the price of Hive I can see a lot of long term users thinking about life in their posts. I know that i left my job last week after 13 years but that was planned due to outside circumstances well before the prices jumped. $2 Hive is just a happy coincidence.

For anybody that has been here since the beginning however it does make them think.

**
How much do I earn on here every month?
How much do i need to earn every month for my lifestyle?**

I that if the first number is bigger than the second number then things get interesting.

These numbers are obviously going to vary massively depending on where you live, what you earn, what you spend money on and how much Hive that you in your wallet.

The more Hive that you have currently, the easier it is to earn more. The country that you live in can dictate how much you need to live for a month.

More full time Hivers would be great for Hive.

I think that this would be a very positive move for the blockchain if we can support more and more users with a living wage. It is positive for so many different reasons.

We need more users, more content, more activity. People might come for the money but the ones that stick with it long term are the ones who become part of the community.

Full time users will spend more time logged on. Engage with more content. Drive more contests, communities, initiatives. Some might start bigger projects or apps if they can.

It's a huge selling point for new users to see that people can earn enough to live from the chain. We can showcase across all social media how Hive is changing lives in real time.

How thousands of users can earn real money from their online activity. That is better marketing than anything else that you can buy. My friends are already asking what my next job will be.

I've told them about Hive for years but now I am telling them how i have gone full time. I don't lie and say that they can do it but stress how it took years to get here. That is in my country however. In others it wouldn't take a fraction of the money to support a family.

It's good to start somewhere though and get involved with any of the apps. Everybody has to start somewhere and if i am full time Hive can help to get them going and bring more people in afterwards.

More activity means more fun, more content, more development, more promotion and just more of everything that we have already. Success leads to success and if we can see some people making that jump then more will follow.

Are you interested?

It sounds great doesn't it?

It does really. Work for yourself, earn lots of money. Fun and flexible working for yourself and the community.

There are two pieces of advice that i have read lately which are relevant to the conversation.

Don't quit in a bull market. If you want to be self sufficient in crypto. Make sure that you can earn enough in a bear market to survive. A bull market isn't a true reflection of your affairs.

Don't kill the golden goose. Your staked Hive is the goose. Sell the eggs that the goose lays but if you sell the stake you might never get it back. That is what powers everything else that you earn so yo should be able to live of the earnings, not by selling your balance.

Solid advice in my opinion. Your stake is the key to success on hive and to everything that you do and earn. It's hard to earn it and as time goes on could become even harder. We are only getting busier on the chain every month and that means more people for the same rewards.

The math's are simple on that scope.

Makes you think though....

I am pretty sure that in 2022 we will have a lot of full-time HIVEers!

If we don't hit a bear market anybody with a decent stake will be able to do it.

Great for the ecosystem as we will have more people to sustain and build it.

Hehe. Th Bull Market has started this year. It is expected to be a super cycle and last for at least 3-5 years. So, if everything is ok with HIVE it will also skyrocket in this Bull Market cycle. I expect a price between 50-150 EUR.

It can be done by anybody over time.
Stay active, turn up daily and comment as much as possible across the chain.
Then stake everything.
Over time your growth will keep getting faster.

THIS.

If HIVE is still at $2+ in 2022, my stake could, relatively easily and safely, yield $300–400 a month in eggs. And that’s not even counting potential earnings from H-E, Splinterlands, or other sources.

Hive Power is the gift that keeps on giving.

I just checked your wallet, you need to start selling those eggs for HBD :) so you can have 2 gooses haha

This comes from experience though.
I remember the hype in 2017 when the markets were shooting up and working away through the pat few years of a bear market. The one consistent was that stake earns more stake.

The longer that you are here, the more that your hive stake will bring you in earnings and airdrops.

I need about $2500 a month to live comfortable and at these prices and splinterlands success that is getting closer and closer.

I hope that we see it last long into the future and grow even more.

Fun and flexible working for yourself and the community.

This is an attractive fact that pushes me to be more involved in crypto :)

The workplace is going to change as we move deeper into the digital age. We are already gone about 50% working from home in this country and people like it.

Its a much better quality of life for people. Now combined with working for yourself at the same time its amazing.

Some good advice here. I expect we will see more full time Hivers, but probably safer to be part time Hiver full time Crypto, and seek out multiple income streams.

but probably safer to be part time Hiver full time Crypto, and seek out multiple income streams.

There is a lot to be said for this option but from my angle it's hard to commit to anything properly if you are spread across multiple projects or jobs.

Hive takes up a lot of hours to grow to a decent level and i don't think that i would have managed it if i hadn't gone all in with the project.

I have a few other interest in crypto but those all came from somebody that i read or followed on hive. The community here is amazing for learning new things and expanding your crypto interests. Plus i just love being here. I couldn't turn up every day if i didn't enjoy it so much.

I do take your point though and it's good to have as many streams of revenue as possible as long as you can stay on top of them properly.

Anything is possible. However, I still believe a “time token” is needed to reward authors that aren’t so popular.

I think that there needs to be something. A way to showcase good new users. Somewhere that they can go to get started.
It's hard to get seen in the early days and that's important to new users.

Good luck. I may decide to do that as well in a few years after I build enough on the block chain. After all I want a few sources of income that I can rely on before even trying it.

It takes time and not something to jump into lightly.

You need to build an account and multiple streams of revenue that you can depend on consistently.

When you know that you have a steady number that is enough to live on, then you can make the jump.

Those 2 last advice you gave is something that should be adhered to for success on hive..
I hope to also go full time on hive for a couple of months after my internship.

That will be sometime in late June.

And My profession will be a side hustle.

And My profession will be a side hustle.

It's good to have a side hustle. Something to bring in a little extra money and top up your wages.

Can't wait until you get there too and go full time.

Lots of interesting debate. I can definitely see more full time hivers emerge, especially if we can maintain Hive at or close to current levels..

Don't know what to do with my HBD these days... i usually wait for a decent price and sell, but that is looking less and less attractive. Have gone 100% HP on some recent posts, so will see how that works out.

The big question is where will the price settle over the next few months.
If we don't drop below a dollar again then we are in a good place.
With these pumps we could easily touch $5 on any given day.

I'm just stacking HBD as much as possible. I was here when my account lost 90% of it's value in the last bear market so happy to stake away and take 10% APR.
100% HP is good for growth, i'm just going with safety for now.

Good advise, I may well follow suit, I have made 2 or 3 posts now with 100% HP, but I might do a bit of a mix, with every second post going the 50/50 way...

Quick question, I notice you commented on this link https://leofinance.io/@spknetwork/spk-network-or-larynx-miner-claim-drop-90-days-until-snapshot

Just wondering if this can be trusted - there are executables to run in the github page mentioned, but I'm always a bit weary running an .exe file that I dont know anything about, as it could be something other than what it is supposed to be...

Always better to be safe.. Any advise appreciated, I just want to make sure to qualify for the 3 Speak airdrops in Jan 22

I am happy to download it when we reach the airdrop stage. It's a trustworthy team behind it and my questions were more on tokenomics than anything to do with trust.

I'll be looking forward to it.

Two years ago I wouldn't have imagined that something like that could actually be possible but today it's quite different... I think that in some countries like Venezuela there are quite some full time hiver already. But with higher Hive prices, this starts to be possible also for people living in developped countries. I believe the more professionals we have that pour all their energy in this chain, the better!

Two years ago we were a long way form here. I know of a good few users in Venezuela and Nigeria where the money here is huge altogether.

Now that it's going the same way for the likes of european countries is even bigger. It can attract a whole new range of users and developers to the chain. Ones that wouldn't look at hive when the price was 20c will suddenly see a market to tap into.
