What would you change in your life?
If you could change any part of your life. What would you do?
This was a conversation on the radio earlier this morning and it's an interesting one.
I think that all of us here have dreams of doing something more than what we usually do. Most of us are tied down by our lifestyles and responsibilities.
We all need money to fund our current lifestyles and this shapes most of our life decisions.
If you earned more money would you work less?
Would you work more and have a bigger house?
Would you stay the same and just spend it a bit faster?
Whether we like it or not, money shapes our day to day lives. It plays a huge part in our decisions making process and where we are right now.
If you had more money, would you still be active on hive every day?
Would you have the same job that you do now?
Would you have the same family and friends?
Probably not.
I think that if I gave one million dollars to any of you at 18 years of age then you would never have ended up right here, right now.
I know that i wouldn't.
With that kind of money i would never have gone back to college the second time.
I would never have worked in retail for thirteen years.
I would not have my home and family that i do now.
It would be a massive butterfly effect on your life and others if you suddenly had a whole host of choices opened up in front of you that would have been closed off otherwise.
So where would you be?
That's my question to the community.
If money wasn't an object. If you didn't need to go to work every day.
What would you be doing right now?
What would you like to do.
I like my life and have a great time but i still need money to live on. I would love to have a couple of staff for minding the ids and doing the chores around the house that i wouldn't have to.
I don't like fancy living so i would be happy with a slightly bigger house and the freedom to spend time with my friends and family. Play some golf, do some writing and create something useful for the community. A business or service that makes the town a little bit better. I don't believe in giving out anything for free but i would have a helping hand for anybody trying hard to improve their lives.
Help out, volunteer, have some fun. A simple life but a good life.

Do you know the legal name of @themarkymark ???? It is needed to contact his local police station. Any information to his whereabouts would be much appreciated.
If money was no object, I would be involved in some way in space exploration. I don't know if I would be studying about it, trying to develop better solutions to space exploration or even exploring it myself but that's something I'd love to do.

That's a very interesting choice.
It's would be a very interesting and out there place to be involved with but obviously it's something that you love or would love to do.
i like the sound of this one and it would make a big difference to a lot of people if there were further advancements in the area.

Would probably still go plenty fun but not much luxuries. If I'd gotten it at 18 I would have been Icarus.
Dangerous to give people that kind of money but it would be fun.
If i had all the money at 18 i probably wouldn't have seen 21.

In reality, I guess if we had all the money we wanted, I believe our lives would turn out different than we thought. But I'll probably make a post to talk about this.

It could take a full post to see how life would have worked out theoretically but there are so many twists and turns that it's impossible to really know.
They always speak about the grass being greener on the other side and that could be the case right there. Having money could just create problems and make everything a lot worse.

Exactly, I feel we can or might become too comfortable should we have all the money in the world, hence a different problem we cannot even fathom is born.

When we have that amount of money, it will change our decision definitely. I will enjoy some time and go on a vacation. Then I get back to work. Even if I have a lot of money and I do nothing, I will end up in a bad position when that's over. Just sitting down somewhere and doing nothing is not fun. I will work, have fun and live my life.

If money was not an issue, I would like to study more about technology and build something that can be used by others. It would take both time and knowledge but it would be worth it.

I think IF I had $million when I was 18, life would surely have turned out different, but if u handed me that money now, I don't think I would make any drastic changes except similar to what u described. I would shift all my income producing (well, most all.. i mean u always want more, right?) to doing something that helps.. probably environmental like maybe developing/advancing solar..
Money effortlessly makes the world go round . It sure has its merits and demerits but without it being in existence I think I’ll be more interested in investing myself into knowing and understanding how the human mind works .
Keep living, keep impacting the daily that flow in and out of daily life. In the best ways possible.
