Blowing off the dust for 2022
I Still Have a Website!
Hey there! Can't believe it's been half a year since I shared a blog on my website so if you're subscribed then at least you can't say I've been spamming you lol!
In fact, it has been so long since I last posted that my own website locked me out so had to sort that out haha!
Anyway, I did take a step back from blogging on my music and travel stuff as I hadn't really been doing any music or any travelling in that time!
Lots of things happened in the last 6 months of 2021 though and, without boring you too much with the personal details, we're coming through the other side and things are starting to look a lot brighter. Here's a quick rundown of what's been happening.
The Bitcoin Manual
This has been a really exciting and fun project that was only an idea earlier in 2021 but has turned into a fully fledged beast of a passion project since we launched the site in July 2021!
I've loved sharing what I have learned about Bitcoin and have been working with Che and Gabriela to develop a site called The Bitcoin Manual (TBM), which has close to 400 pages up now, including articles, free ebooks and free Bitcoin if you're in the UK.
We want it to be the most comprehensive place where you can get all the information you need relating to Bitcoin, how to buy it, store it, send it, mine it, secure it... everything!
Music
As the good vibes from TBM have compounded towards the end of 2021, it's filtered in to my creativity and I've found that I've ended up being a little more creative in the music studio, which is ace!
Over the time off I've had over Xmas, I've been beavering away, discovering many old tunes that I thought had been lost to the tribulations of corrupted hard drives. Turns out some were salvageable and I've composed them in a playlist over on Soundcloud:
Add on to this, I have a Space Adventure EP that's closer to completion and looking to get released to major platforms in April, I am looking forward to seeing what happens!
Expect some tunes that will get your imagination going. If you want a little teaser, I've put together a short mix of some of the tunes below:
Travel
So naturally, with the pandemic, travelling around the world like what I did in 2019 is very much off the cards and domestic holidays or "staycations" as they're calling them now have replaced them.
I had pretty much abandoned my travel blogs and think I was still half way through sharing my New Zealand adventures before the world flipped on its head.
IF (and that's a big if) I can get the time to continue where I left of and remember where it was I actually left off before then I'll try to crank out a travel blog or two with some snaps to take our minds off the current situation!
When the world shut down, it made me feel very grateful that I managed to do what I did, when I did and maybe it won't be such a bad idea to open up the travel diaries series again so we can all live vicariously and take our minds away.
In Short
More tunes on the way for sure, along with Bitcoin content on TBM. Travel blogs, not so sure but hopefully. Other than that, hope you have a great 2022!

Hasn't helped that I have been suffering from some illness. So thanks for reminding me. I need to upload some more demos and stuff I'm working on. Good luck for 2022
Ah no, I'm sorry to hear about your illness 😔 hopefully you're in a better place now.
Yeah I can recommend uploading things to soundcloud, even if they are works in progress or ideas. Never know who might listen or give some feedback on it. Then when you finish the tune, you can see how it began and hear the improvement
It's okay wasn't too bad, but just seemed to drag my motivation down! Yes cheers, doing a lot better now. Yes, this is very true. I've made a few friends on there which is very wicked and ended up doing some synth stuff with music. Totally unexpected collaboration but was very wicked! I'll drop you a follow so I can see how the tracks turn out 🎤
Ah that's great you're doing much better and have your motivation back, I know what it's like to lose it and get burned out.

New year, new start and all that haha. I'm good at writing songs it's just I start too many and it gets messy. Yes, hopefully, more in the future. Haha yes, no pressure 😜
