Finding Old Tunes Vol. 5 - The Next Adventure
Now that Rudolph has delivered his presents, I have returned back to my sack of goodies i.e. the old forgotten Western Digital hard drive is continuing to deliver gifts from a forgotten production past.
The last week or two, I've been discovering some tunes that I started but never finished for one reason or another and there's quite a selection!
This rough demo today is called "The Next Adventure" and it starts off with a melody that was inspired by the Bentley's Gonna Sort You Out track from many moons ago! Here's that lovely tune:
I haven't opened up the project file yet to see what chaos will ensue in there. It sounds like there's a LOT of automation going to change the sound effects and parameters of these instruments and the build up sounds like it probably put the computer processor through it's strain!
If I remember rightly, I had to export this file quite a few times because the processor couldn't handle everything that was going on but found one that didn't sound too distorted!
Looks like I pretty much gave up on anything more after the drop there as it falls kinda flat on its face!
It's got promise though!
Hope you all had a good Xmas!
Nick
That's got a great start to it. Hopefully you'll be able to coax a little more from your computer to keep it going. Remember, be gentle, yet firm. Give it words of encouragement; let it know that it's a good computer and that, even if it's not quite up to the task, you'll be proud of what it's able to do and won't crush it under the Big Hammer of Failure. You can do it!
Thanks man! Lol, great advice too! Were you a computer counsellor before you became Master of Lego? 😁
