Finding Old Tunes Vol. 8 - Stars Align

Still finding some tunes with a lot of potential in the old hard drive although I was losing hope that there weren't many left in there after opening about 30 of what can only be described as "musical brainfarts"!

However, I perked right up after I stumbled across this tune that I began in March 2017. Wow, the chord opening and then that huge melody that happens in the breakdown 🙀

Why on earth I didn't finish this one... apparently the stars didn't align back then for that! 😂

Thinking back, March 2017... mmmm, that's when I managed to secure a job after not being sure if the company back then would employ me so maybe this was a celebration to say that the stars aligned.

I had already secured a contract there when I was out travelling so it does make sense but little did I know 6 months later I'd be leaving for a company that was truly horrendous!

Having said that, the nightmare experience made me go travelling again in 2019 on the trip of a lifetime so hey, wherever the stars align, it seems I'll just go with the flow lol.

This upload is a little raw as all works in progresses tend to be but just had to share this one with you. Add this to the previous 7 tunes to work on in the "Finding Old Tunes" series and we've got an album to work with here!

If I can find another two to make it to 10 then that should keep me well occupied for next year along with the new flat... and potentially new job... and TBM.

Where will those stars take me next...
