Creating solutions for customers' problems made the product exhibition successful.

It was my first time experiencing an exhibition program. This was a program organized by the Chevron Company (one of the oil and gas firms in Nigeria) and their staff, where some of the privileged staff were given the opportunity to showcase the products they sell aside from their well-paid jobs.No wonder this motivational speaker said that _{salary is just a medicine for managing poverty not curing it, only business or investment cures poverty} When I received a call from a client that needed my services for this program, I was skeptical at first about accepting the task, but on second thought, I decided to take it on after all, there is always a first time for everything. I'm glad I did, and it became more interesting when the client requested that I find more than two people to join me for the job for a higher result. Coincidentally, I got two of my amazing friends who have been attending an exhibition in Lagos, Nigeria, and they were just a call away.

These are my offline friends and they are also hiveans. Their past experience on exhibition made the whole job so easy for me to flow. The company also organised it in a way that once you are equipped with knowledge about the product being exhibited, it wouldn't be difficult for you to educate the clients who visits your stand. We have gone for the product knowledge via the client that hired us before the program and got the necessary information. The products we exhibited was basically alternative power supply.

Power supply has been a major problem in Nigeria. Many people already know about the solar system and the inverter but we gave them another interesting source of light which is wind Turbines. We had a brochure where different types of wind Turbines were showcased and we did well to explain to many people that visited our stand how wind Turbines works, how it can be installed and the advantages it has over other sources of power supply. We didn't have a physical product to show them at the time we did the program 3 weeks ago but with our sales skills, we were able to get good number of buyers to our client. People were eager to use this product worth millions just to solve power supply issues in their homes, estates and offices etc.

The company also showcased the program online and they visited our stand, gave us the privilege to tell online world what this wind Turbines is all about. I was privileged to take up this task and did justice to it on the last day...it was 3-day event!

My thought about the exhibition program

I think this is a nice program to encourage, support and motivate staffs in the company. Imagine many of the staffs making mega sales aside their salary, is a plus to support the world economy today. Business has proven to be a life saver to many and should be something many people should key into regardless of their good jobs for a better financial growth.

Overall, it was an interesting experience we made our client proud within the 3 days sales event. He also paid handsomely well.
