LEARNING TO MULTITASK

Being able to do so many things within a day has never come easy to me. This is one of the reasons I have stuck to writing for such a long time. My purpose is clear: create content and earn.

However, these past few months have been quite capricious in the sense that I have had to start different things (coding, a rideshare business, relocation etc) and it seems like I am losing grip of everything I want to achieve; it seems like I am biting more than I can chew.

This evening I was staring at my computer and the plethora of pending tasks on my coding course and also dealing with the thoughts of driving tomorrow and I just had to shut down my pc to take a nap.

It is never easy taking on new challenges. I want to believe these bottlenecks (here and there) are only signs of progress; I want to believe it will get easier as time goes by (because it has to). My entire being hasn't been exposed to a level of stress I haven't experienced in a long time and it can be overwhelming sometimes.

I find myself praying a lot these days, drawing strength from within and above. It has been one of the things keeping me grounded while I watch everything I have worked for these past few years come under serious pressure. I do know I will get out of this alive, although I am eager to get to the finish line. I understand I have to learn through the process.

During these times, I have learnt some valuable lessons. First, something–one thing–has to take precedence over others. In my case, it is my rideshare business. Creating content and coding might suffer a bit for me to establish my side hustle. It is the only price I have to pay. When it does fit into my routine properly, I can perform these other tasks better.

Secondly, the universe will test you. I cannot mention how many times I have capitulated these past few weeks. It seemed like the universe was or is working against me. I have had so many moments of uncertainty but in all that turmoil I understand that I have to see this through to the end.

Thirdly, rest. In your bid to do as much as possible, never forget to rest. Stress has a negative impact on the body emotionally and mentally. When I find myself losing my cool, I take a short break, which refreshes my mind and allows me to think properly.

In a nutshell, it has been a very polarising experience getting out of my comfort zone. However, I want to believe it will be worth it. I am learning how to do more with less time. No one said it will be easy.

Do you know the legal name of @themarkymark ???? It is needed to contact his local police station. Any information to his whereabouts would be much appreciated.

This is very important. I have had the experience of attempting to reduce and sometimes completely remove resting hours from my day and it's something I deeply regret.

Yes, there are times you feel you are doing a lot at once and the pressure is closing in. Like you said, sometimes what we need to do is just rest for a while. Some peole find it hard to deal with themselves being human, if you work too mush without taking time out to rest, breakdown is imminent.

@nonsowrites you spoke facts in your post here. Well done!!
