Every season seems to become tougher as the Splinterlands ecosystem is booming and the competition at the top is become every fiercer! Nevertheless, with a good deal of effort I managed to just scrape a finish inside the Top 50.

I'm very pleased with the Top 50 finish, and although tournament-wise my season was less successful, I'm still very pleased given that I moved house during this season :).

Owster and Camila have become my go-to summoners while particularly Mimosa Nightshade went a bit out of fashion in my deck. I'm still struggling to win a lot with Yodin Zaku, which seems to be a much harder play now that the Byzantine Kitty has been released.

New season, new monster leader! This time it's the Khmer Princess leading the charge, and it is indeed a very powerful card. Another highlight is the return of the Chicken to the top of the table: the good win ratio there gives evidence that its return is justified :).
But what is very interesting is the high win ratio with Shieldbearer. Last season I struggled with that card, but now that I am playing it more strategically and less often it seems to work much better :).
Prominent losers include Skeleton Assassin and Crustacean King. The Beta edition is soooo 2019!

Tournaments went less well this season, as I rushed in many of my lineups due to RL events. The two top 10 finished are good, but there are several high-flyer tournaments where I unfortunately finished outside of the prizes altogether. Better luck next time!

No legendaries this time around, but I did get three GF commons and a large number of Epics. Altogether not a bad haul :).
After a season of struggle and slight stagnation I am planning to change my game a bit for next season. I've maxed out some of the new Reward commons, and hope to play them with deadly skill in the next season.
