# Smashing! - Splinter Stats Season 58 Report Card

@notaboutme

The reports are a bit trimmed down these days, but actually this season was (in my own opinion) perhaps the best season I've played!

Despite increasing competition, I managed to make a few amazing wins at the very end against top-tier opponents, and sneak my way in to the Top 50. Although the summaries don't show it, more often than not I managed to make surprise victories by using the... Pelacor Conjurer ;). Tournament-wise I did really well, with a few out of prize finishes at the start, but followed by a number of really strong rankings :).

With two new Reward legendaries, I've been lucking out quite a bit with the Reward Cards. Only the gold draws are a bit below average, but I don't mind that too much :).

Rental Report

TypeDEC (fees)
Revenue1917.069 (95.842)
Expenses(6427.424)
Cancellation Refunds8993.600
NET4387.403

I've relied quite a bit on rentals with GF tournaments initially, but due to the spike in prices and drop in availability I've been having to shift away from that strategy. The refund is from a Crustacean King that I rented on the cheap initially :).

SPS Report

TypeAmount Claimed
Airdrop18590.222
Staking Rewards2799.102
NET21389.324

Staking sufficient SPS to qualify for the GF tournaments was a challenge (the 98k SPS requirement was much higher than I initially expected), and I had to make some tough investment decisions to meet the requirements for the Wealthy Gambit. But in the end I made it in :).

A fairly basic report this time around, but hopefully the Spinterlands API will improve again in the coming weeks, allowing us to summarize the season more in depth! :)

However, let me say a bit about the new Reward Cards. Some of the cheaper ones can be absolute winners actually, and especially the commons really can make the game as opponents seldom expect them to be used. Of the Legendaries, the green Djinn is clearly my favorite, while I think the Blue one is potentially interesting as well. The black legendary has its use, but at least in my case I'm already quite thick in my melee options ;).

(btw. I went for 50/50 rewards again for @kiokizz to support his efforts in these difficult API times :)).

Dude! So great to see and read this report! Why am I absolutely not surprised that you've managed to figure out amazing ways to use brand new reward cards?

The Pelacor Conjurer was not on my radar at all. Literally the only one I've bought and maxed is the Naga Assassin for the extra speed, and I'm not sure it's helped all that much.

I'm actually struggling a lot these days, I'm losing way more than I'm winning and even completing the daily quests sometimes takes all day. I'm really just waiting for CL to be released to re-invigorate my collection.

Thanks for sharing!

Lineups with Pelacor Conjurer at the front and Naga Assassin at the back are reasonably competitive at the moment when doing low mana battles. This is particularly the case if you combine it with a heal and/or triage card (herbalist and divine healer are pretty good choices for that, for instance). Also, the Lensmaster may be useful for adding Blind on the cheap.

But Chaos Legion will change everything when it comes out, I'm pretty sure!

These are great tips, thank you! My Divine Healer, Herbalist and Lensmaster need a lot of work, but you've got me thinking about different builds which is great. Ah, there is SO MUCH to this game, it's ridiculous!
