Amigos de esta Comunidad Cervecera. El domingo salimos a San Telmo, aquí en Buenos Aires, Argentina, a comprar algunos recuerdos.
Confieso que quedé maravillada con todo lo que se puede comprar allí y si quieres comer, también ofrecen una gran variedad gastronómica.
El caso es que después de ese gran recorrido por todas las tiendas y ferias, donde pude comprar dulce de leche, alfajores y otras cosas, decidimos ir a la hermosa Costanera, en Puerto Madero. Es una zona hermosa para pasear y disfrutar del paisaje acuático.

Friends of this Brewing Community. On Sunday we went out to San Telmo, here in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to buy some souvenirs.
I confess that I was amazed with everything you can buy there and if you want to eat, they also offer a great gastronomic variety.
The thing is that after that great tour of all the stores and fairs, where I could buy dulce de leche, alfajores and other things, we decided to go to the beautiful Costanera, in Puerto Madero. It is a beautiful area to walk around and enjoy the water scenery.

Finalmente, decidimos volver al Puente de La Mujer, porque desde la última vez que pasé por allí, me dieron ganas de tomar algo en la famosa cervecería flotante, Peñón del Águila, donde también se puede ver el hermoso río, edificios comerciales, tiendas, restaurantes, etc. Pero siempre estaba lleno de gente. Así que aprovechamos que había poca gente y decidimos hacer una parada para degustar una cerveza.

Finally, we decided to go back to Puente de La Mujer, because since the last time I passed by there, I felt like having a drink at the famous floating brewery, Peñón del Águila, where you can also see the beautiful river, commercial buildings, stores, restaurants, etc. But it was always crowded. So we took advantage of the fact that there were few people and decided to stop for a beer.

Esta vez había menos afluencia de clientes, claro estaba igualmente llena, pero pudimos lograr entrar y recibir la debida atención. La cual fue muy oportuna y eficiente. Nos ofrecieron la carta y nos encontramos con unas cervezas de sabores exóticos si se quiere, pues sus nombres y mezclas eran diferentes a las cervezas comunes. Acá en Argentina se ha proliferado la elaboración de cerveza artesanal y créanme que son espectaculares.

This time there was less affluence of clients, of course it was equally full, but we were able to get in and receive the proper attention. Which was very timely and efficient. They offered us the menu, and we found some beers with exotic flavors if you will, because their names and mixtures were different from the common beers. Here in Argentina, craft beer brewing has proliferated and believe me, they are spectacular.

Emocionada y con mucha curiosidad, pedí una que estaba elaborada con frambuesa, la **Waldbier **. Realmente se sintió muy liviana, sabor entre dulce y amargo, además estaba muy fría. Así que del 1 al 10 le doy un nueve.

Otro de los sabores que pude catar fue la Oktoberfest, y no sé a qué se debió su nombre, pero realmente era todo un festival de sabores, la malta y el caramelo le dan ese toque extrañamente delicioso producto de la mezcla satánica como le escuche decir a algunos presentes.

Por último nos queda una superespecial llamada SourMaracuyá. La fruta maracuyá es muy popular en América Latina. Y esta mezcla y el toque de acidez se convirtió en boca, en un elixir refrescante. Todas tiene bajo contenido de alcohol. Por supuesto, no se debe abusar de ninguna bebida alcohólica. Pues es dañina para la salud cuando se convierte en un vicio.

Excited and very curious, I ordered one that was brewed with raspberry, the **Waldbier **. It really felt very light, taste between sweet and bitter, plus it was very cold. So from 1 to 10 I give it a nine.
Another of the flavors that I tasted was the Oktoberfest, and I don't know why it got its name, but it was really a festival of flavors, malt and caramel give it that touch strangely delicious product of the satanic mixture as I heard some people say.
Lastly we have a super special called SourPassion Fruit. Passion fruit is very popular in Latin America. And this blend and the touch of acidity became a refreshing elixir in the mouth. All have low alcohol content. Of course, no alcoholic beverage should be abused. For it is harmful to health when it becomes a vice.

En la imagen anterior, se divisa El Puente de La Mujery su hermoso reflejo en las aguas del río de Puerto Madero, un lugar de ensueños. Nos retiramos satisfechos de esta visita. Con las ganas de regresar.

Clásicos para acompañar

Estas "Papas Ranch, por supuesto, fue mi selección y la combinación perfecta para hacer de mis papilas gustativas, una verdadera fiesta de sabores. Me convenció la salsa ranch tradicional, con el queso mozzarella derretido, el toque que le da la panceta ahumada junto al verdeo, provocando una espectacular explosión de sabores. Todo ello, maridado con la cerveza tipo Oktoberfest, ⁣ selló la inolvidable velada como homenaje al paladar.

These "Papas Ranch, of course, was my selection and the perfect combination to make my taste buds, a real feast of flavors. I was convinced by the traditional ranch sauce, with the melted mozzarella cheese, the touch that gives the smoked bacon and the green pepper, causing a spectacular explosion of flavors. All this, paired with Oktoberfest beer, sealed the unforgettable evening as a tribute to the palate.
