The Legionnaire Alvar is a fierce melee warrior from the neutral series Splinter. He wields a trusty sword and shield that he uses to great effect. With his moderate speed and health, he is capable of taking down even the toughest of foes. His special ability, Defensive Formation, allows him to protect himself and up to two other friendly monsters from damage. This makes him a great addition to any team that needs a frontline tank.

In this battle, I was arranging my cards to cause much damage to the opponent's lineup in association with the battle rulesets. Alvar was right in the middle of this lineup showing support to all the back-line friendly monsters.
Dans cette bataille, j'organisais mes cartes pour causer beaucoup de dégâts à l'alignement de l'adversaire en association avec les règles de bataille. Alvar était en plein milieu de cette formation, montrant son soutien à tous les monstres amicaux de la ligne arrière.

My strategy was successful to the point that no card in my lineup was defeated during the three rounds. The Legionnaire Alvar card was playing the role of a passive tank. It has high health, good attack, and a powerful shield ability. Despite his capable role in the front row at the start of the battle, I preferred to let it absorb the enemy's attacks in the middle of the group while ranged and magic attackers do their work. Alvar didn't have to protect my weaker cards. He remains a passive observer in this match.
Ma stratégie a réussi au point qu'aucune carte de mon alignement n'a été vaincue au cours des trois tours. La carte Legionnaire Alvar jouait le rôle d'un tank passif. Il a une santé élevée, une bonne attaque et une puissante capacité de bouclier. Do I often select this Warrior to fight in the arena? why or why not?

No, I do not often select Legionnaire Alvar to fight in the arena. Alvar is a powerful warrior and a master of the sword, but he is more of a strategist than a warrior. I have barely leveled up Alvar considering the situation that he is more a leader of warriors than a fighter in one on one sets in an arena. He is also not typically seen as an arena fighter, as his style of combat is more suited for larger engagements.
Non, je ne sélectionne pas souvent le légionnaire Alvar pour combattre dans l'arène. Alvar est un guerrier puissant et un maître de l'épée, mais il est plus un stratège qu'un guerrier.
