Its quite funny when you thought you are buying the dip and it dips even more dipper,...then you begin to ask yourself why can't just hold on, i think now it can't go dip again let me buy more in the process you are losing money but at the same time you are telling yourself to be patient give it more time, maybe some years and you will make profits but then again, there are people like me out there who have no specific source of income so to speak, we only make our incomes from cryptos.
While some of us also got engaged in forex trading but whatever we make out of this, we still convert and buy more coins.

  • For instance we all watched #bitcoin gone pass $50k, while I was not even thinking of selling, because i see it mooning $100k but just when we are hoping it took a downward trend and went below $20k and still not fully recover till date.
I have seen #hive gone $0.9 this year, but went down some few weeks ago to $0.17 and now at 0.3.

We all don't want to miss out #FOMO (fear of missing out) and don't want to panic sell, and here we are...

To be honest, Whats the essence of investment, if not to make profits and more profit. And its very unfortunate people even sell dip, like you just have to sell even when one is on loss the same way i did when the need arose.

And i was just here thinking out loud, want to know for how long one have to #hodl. Should one just be smart and sell immediately it pumps or practice patience while you continue to hodl or continue to buy the dip and if you keep buying, the money could be exhausted and when do you start to sell?

I sincerely hope i will get some response especially the cryptos genius because as it may be I'm still a newbie as far as crypto is concerned,

Even after using different models to forcast and predict from cryptos expert no one can still predict precisely

This is why the rich who doesn't need money get richer because they don't need money urgently, they don't sell when others are selling, but when opportunities come, they go for it, i know of a whale of btc and eth, during all time eth was in 3000 he didnt sell but when it got to 4000, he sold off a big chunk and guess what he said, it is during this time that coins are getting ridiculously pumped that one should sell and not buy, so i believe he must have bought back when the big dipped happened already.... Buy when others are selling, sell when others are buying is the right way to hit jackpot.....

Haha if anyone can answer that question for every single situation, that would be awesome! I often take profits too early, or too late (thinking of the huge BTC dip recently) and I didn't find a technique that I feel comfortable with every time. It depends on several things what I decide :) but its crystal clear that those people that can hold on to their coins for several years every time they buy, are those that probably doing best. I hope to be one of them one day, for now I can't see all coins long term yet. :)
