Un saludo a todos los que leen mis publicaciones, agradecida con la vida porque podemos contar cada experiencia que tenemos, hoy quiero escribir sobre mi segunda hija Priscila Obed y la aventura que tuvimos con sus lentes, al inicio fue una preocupación pero al final de todo se veía muy preciosa con su nueva apariencia.

Today I want to write about my second daughter Priscila Obed and the adventure we had with her glasses, at the beginning it was a worry but at the end of it all she looked very beautiful with her new look.

Les cuento que casi toda mi familia usa lentes, pero nunca me imagine que una de mis hijas usaran lentes tan pequeñas, pero la realidad fue otra, como ya comente mi segunda hija, de un momento a otro llega a casa de la escuela con mucho dolor de cabeza, pensé que tenia un resfriado porque el clima estaba muy frió, la atendí como toda madre preocupada, le tome la temperatura y verdaderamente estaba un poco aumentada, le di su dosis de antipirético, mejorando sus síntomas.

I tell you that almost all my family wears glasses, but I never imagined that one of my daughters would wear glasses so small, but the reality was different, as I said my second daughter, suddenly came home from school with a headache, I thought she had a cold because the weather was very cold, I attended her as any concerned mother, I took her temperature and it was really a little increased, I gave her a dose of antipyretic, improving her symptoms.

Paso un tiempo pero volvió con el mismo malestar de dolor de cabeza, allí se prendió una alarma en mi ser, naturalmente me asuste, como soy personal de salud; acudí al centro mas cercado para la evaluación, gracias a dios cumplí con todo lo que lo recomendado, pero mi inquietud seguía en mi mente, cuando fui a buscarla al colegio su maestra me dice que la tuvo que colocar en la primera fila porque tardaba mucho en copiar.

I went to the nearest center for the evaluation, thank God I complied with everything that was recommended, but my concern was still in my mind, when I went to pick her up at school her teacher told me that she had to be placed in the first row because she was taking too long to copy.

Al llegar a casa hable con mi pequeña, le pregunte si se sentía mal; por lo que ella respondió que su cabeza le dolía mucho, seguí indagando y por fin dijo la palabra clave " estoy viendo borroso", allí fue cuando pensé llevarla al oftalmológo.

When I got home I talked to my little girl, I asked her if she was feeling bad; she answered that her head hurt a lot, I kept asking and finally she said the key word "I'm seeing blurry", that's when I thought of taking her to the ophthalmologist.

Después de la consulta con la oftalmologa, me confirmo lo que temía; mi linda niña tenia un problema con su vista, tuve que abrazarla muy fuerte para explicarle que usaría lentes, ella reacciono en rechazo, dijo que se vería fea.

After the consultation with the ophthalmologist, she confirmed what I feared; my beautiful girl had a problem with her eyesight, I had to hug her very tightly to explain that she would wear glasses, she reacted in rejection, she said she would look ugly.

Allí empezó mi travesía para convencerla, hasta que logre que escogiera un color, le comente a mi hermano que esta fuera del país lo que estaba sucediendo, por lo que se ofreció ayudarme, le mande la formula que me dieron; esperamos un corto tiempo y al fin llegaron a mis manos los lentes.

There began my journey to convince her, until I got her to choose a color, I told my brother who is out of the country what was happening, so he offered to help me, I sent him the formula they gave me; we waited a short time and finally I got my hands on the glasses.

Después de 1 año usándolos paso un accidente, estábamos de paseo y se tropezó con un muro; gracias a Dios mi niña no sufrió ningún daño grave pero sus lentes fue otra historia, no resistieron la caída.

After 1 year of using them an accident happened, we were out for a walk and she tripped over a wall; thank God my girl did not suffer any serious damage but her glasses were a different story, they did not resist the fall.

Paso unos meses para volver a poner sus lentes nuevos, porque no tenia los recursos en esos días, cuando le mando a revisar la vista nuevamente resulta que su formula aumento, me quede asombrada por tal hallazgo; lo bueno es que al fin se los pusieron, ya su salud visual esta bien.

He spent a few months to put his new glasses back on, because he did not have the resources in those days, when I sent him to check his eyesight again it turns out that his formula increased, I was amazed by such a finding; the good thing is that he finally got them, and his visual health is fine.

Con mucha satisfacción porque ella esta contenta con sus nuevos anteojos, en Optica Basulto fue donde se escogió el modelo, existe mucha variedad; mi niña estaba un poco asustada por los aparatos que utilizan, pero emocionada con el color que escogido, la atención al cliente es excelente.

With much satisfaction because she is happy with her new glasses, in Optica Basulto was where she chose the model, there is a lot of variety; my girl was a little scared by the devices they use, but excited with the color she chose, the customer service is excellent.

El costo fue de 50 $ al cambio de la moneda en ese momento, la montura me salio en 30 $ y los cristales en 20 $, esto varia en dependencia del diagnostico que le encontraron a mi princesa.

The cost was $50 at the exchange rate at the time, the frame cost me $30 and the lenses $20, this varies depending on the diagnosis they found for my princess.

Para calmar los nervios fuimos a comer unos ricos dulces en una panadería que esta a unos metros de la tienda, después de tantos días preocupada al final del día todo salio bien, disfrutando del trayecto.

To calm our nerves we went to eat some delicious sweets in a bakery that is a few meters from the store, after so many days of worrying at the end of the day everything went well, enjoying the ride.

Es bueno llegar a casa con un suspiro de éxito, cuando todo sale como esta planeado, para descansar en familia y ver los logros del día.

It is good to come home with a sigh of success, when everything goes as planned, to rest with the family and look back on the day's accomplishments.
