There's one more thing I have noticed that @proofofbrainio & some whales mostly upvote posts made from proofofbrain.io
I am not sure how it matters as long as it is adding value to the platform. Ultimately all content gets stored on Blockchain and displayed on the website too if #proofofbrain tag is there.
Maybe I am missing something here and somebody can clarify on this.
It's confusing for sure. I don't understand everything myself. I get onealpha's point to a degree. He gets called out for something someone else seemingly does and...vice versa. I guess that's why he put out his point spread to advertise legitimacy.
The reality is it takes a long time to vet someone's post. It isn't fun especially when you have to DV someone for it and then deal with the blowback. So, what to do? Vote on people whose content you can trust. It's appealing. Do you agree? I just wish the drama would lead to intelligent discussions on how to address it. People have their own things to do outside of hive and if these discussions occur not many people see them.
Hey @scholaris, That's true. Onealfa had to clarify his part and he did it quite well and I must say that his voting behavior is understandable. We can clearly see how he is expanding his range to support the distribution of PoB Token and I am sure it's going to get wider. He spreads a lot of love on LeoFinance & now he is quite active on PoB too. It's great to see more people getting attracted to PoB from Leo Community after seeing interests from large stakeholders on LEO. One of them is me, I joined Hive solely to be on Leo Finance and from there, I was introduced to PoB.
Right now all I see is a set of folks hitting the trending page. Also, apart from WOTW posts, I see many posts about POB getting the highest upvotes. Maybe because they create more quality content than others, maybe they are more active than others. But that should change in the future as we see an influx of users coming in and posting content consistently and more investors coming in to curate them. All of them will have different tastes so they will support different kinds of creators. Ultimately it's your stake and you decide what adds value, how and by how much. That's the essence of PoB right?
Those who add long-term value on a daily basis will reap more rewards from the curators. So it's obvious their names come often in these upvoting lists.
I mentioned this on his post the other day and I will mention it again - PoB is an experiment. Early adopters will have a responsibility with their stake. They can either choose to support the platform together or clash with each other. What brings more value is the question we all need to ask.
I agree 100%. I'll add something more. All the second-layer tokens are ongoing experiments. It's the people that make them up that provide the staying power.
Even the base Layer i.e. Hive is an experiment that has been going on since 4 years ago.

This is so true . Some experiments click , some doesn't .
I kinda wish POB was not general to be honest , it would have been much more amazing if it was focused on specific topic but it's just my opinion .
Seems that most readers did not get what I wanted to say. Not that I doubt in pthker2010's personal capabilities.
I meant - getting into top 10 most upvoted ranks by this particular curator won't have much chance, unless first you get within the closest friend circles with him, or become one of the TOP20 token holders.
To reach TOP 20 on a POB rich list from starting today (with zero tokens) would be a really tough task.
I get what you meant @onealfa.pob. Clearly, the same authors and stakeholders have been supported by @proofofbrainio's account.
I think he needs to distribute his vote to a larger set of audience. Probably following multiple curation trails would help. Maybe delegating to other responsible folks on the chain is another way.

@proofofbrain.io stated early on that they will be upvoting posts made on the proof of brain front end.
Thanks for the info @allcapsonezero. But I don't understand the reasoning behind it since all posts with the #proofofbrain tag show up on the front=end.
How does it matter as long as I add the tag and publish quality content? I know you cannot expect the single account to do all the curation but we are discussing the biggest POB power holder here.
It would make much more sense to upvote worthy posts what they deserve without discriminating on this particular basis. It's better for wider token distribution and at the same time, it's going to attract more outsiders PoB.

I believe the reasoning is capturing internet traffic. There is a change to the front end in development with use cases being developed. Providing rewards on the front-end interface would keep people on longer and raise traffic.
That makes sense! I hope PoB goes in that direction. Having a robust front-end with unique features will attract new users definitely.
But the current stakeholders shouldn't get penalized for not using the front-end in that manner. I saw the tribe owner giving away the delegation to more curation projects. That's a decentralized solution to distribute the tokens responsibly.

Well yeah , I guess it is to encourage more people to use the front-end .
There are many plus side to it , main being traffic .
I get it now because seems like posting from the front end adds more value to the SEO & Ranking of the website. It's a thought in the right direction.

I'd love to see a graph @amr008 if there is even a middle class or lower middle class or whatever the heck anyone wants to call it lol, for now there are VERY few who are like me with a vote that's not .00000whatever or 90...... I'll save my own thoughts on things to myself as the ones who I onboarded who have $$$ are looking for some things that I attempted to ask but just like me asking some on how the upcoming HF would potentially affect communities there is nothing but silence

There is definitely a lower class. Not sure about middle.
