I want to start by congratulating all the participants of the HiveBuzz World Cup Contest, I know you enjoyed it as much as I did, it was an added value to the great event that Qatar 2022 gave us, always putting us in tension until the last minute of each match. Especially I want to congratulate @andyblack and @soluce07, for the great hits during this World Cup, a lot of really difficult matches to choose the right ending. congratulations to all of them!.

Now I want to congratulate the @hivebuzz team and @arcange for this great initiative. I think it is necessary to highlight several aspects of the contest:

• Choosing match by match the result, allowed to analyze all the conditions of each team and their previous participations.

• The voting format starting 24 hours before each match was ideal to have time to vote for our choice.

• Another important aspect was the tie-breaker for the time used to cast the vote, it generated a lot of tension.

From these 3 points I created the strategy to make the elections, starting that I did not do it alone, my family also participated, most of the time we coincided, but when not, we went to the statistics of each team according to their world ranking and the probabilities that each team had to win the match. In the group stage, when the pairings were very even, we played the draws and they made the difference. In this group stage, we made the picks the night before each bet was opened, to try to give the vote as soon as possible.

In the round of 16, we already had our favorites long before the first match.

For the 4th round we also had our favorites, but in two pairings we had doubts, Brazil was our favorite, but we waited for the participants of the first places to vote to give our vote, if Croatia received more votes that would be our choice, but it was Brazil the favorite and our vote. In the other key, England was our favorite, here we also waited a little bit for the participants of the first places to mark their favorite, and it was France that got more votes, and to whom we gave our vote as well. In these two pairings the choices were made in this way to avoid losing the podium.

For the semifinals, third place playoff and the final, there was no discussion, the vote was decided before the ballots were opened and fortunately all were correct.

The luck factor plays a very high percentage in this type of events, but once advanced and taking the game seriously, the strategy also counts and can define the final. I have to confess that there was a lot of tension in the final phase, when we reached the semifinals hahahaha, that made us scream every goal in our favor.

Quiero iniciar felicitando a todos los participantes del Concurso de la Copa Mundial HiveBuzz, se que lo han disfrutado tanto como yo, fue un valor agregado al gran evento que nos regaló Qatar 2022, siempre poniéndonos en tensión hasta el último minuto de cada partid. En especial quiero felicitar a @andyblack y @soluce07, por los grandes aciertos durante esta copa del Mundo, mucho partidos realmente difíciles para elegir el final correcto. ¡Felicidades a todos!.

Ahora quiero felicitar al equipo de @hivebuzz y a @arcange por esta gran iniciativa. Creo necesario destacar varios aspectos del concurso:

• Elegir partido a partido el resultado, permitía analizar todas las condiciones de cada equipo y sus participaciones anteriores.

• El formato de voto iniciando 24 horas antes de cada partido era ideal para tener tiempo de dar el voto a nuestra elección.

• Otro aspecto importante era el desempate por el tiempo usado para dar el voto, generaba mucha tensión.

A partir de estos 3 puntos yo creé la estrategia para hacer las elecciones, partiendo que no lo hacía sólo, mi familia también participó, la mayoría de las veces coincidimos, pero cuando no, íbamos a las estadísticas de cada equipo según su ranking mundial y las probabilidades que tenía cada equipo de ganar el partido. En la fase de grupos, cuando estaban muy parejos los emparejamientos, jugamos los empates e hicieron la diferencia. En esta fase grupos hacíamos las elecciones la noche anterior de que abrieran cada apuesta, para tratar de dar el voto lo antes posible.

En los 8vos de final, ya teníamos nuestros favoritos mucho antes del primer partido.

Para los 4tos de final también teníamos nuestros favoritos, pero en dos emparejamientos teníamos dudas, Brasil era nuestro favorito, pero esperamos a que los participantes de los primeros lugares votaran para dar nuestro voto, si Croacia recibía más voto esa sería nuestra elección, pero fue Brasil el favorito y nuestro voto. En la otra llave, Inglaterra era nuestro favorito, aquí también esperamos un poco para que los participantes de los primeros lugares marcaran su favorito, y fue Francia la que obtuvo más votos, y a quién le dimos nuestro voto también. En estos dos emparejamientos las elecciones se hicieron así para evitar perder el podium.

Para las semifinales, eliminatoria por el tercer lugar y la final, no había discusión, el voto estaba decidido antes de que abrieran los votos y todos fueron acertados por fortuna.

El factor suerte juega un porcentaje muy alto en este tipo de eventos, pero una vez avanzado y tomándose en serio el juego, la estrategia también cuenta y puede definir al final. Tengo que confesar que hubo mucha tensión en la fase final, al llegar a las semifinales jajajaja, eso logró que gritamos cada gol a nuestro favor.
