Why most traders get burned all the time is because of some major reasons, which the first one is patience, when most people buy Bitcoin and it doesn't make them rich overnight or in a short period of time as they expected or have pictured in their minds, it becomes a problem, Bitcoin is a store of value that has always appreciated in a long term mostly than during a short term, that is why when you are going into crypto you are advised to not use money that you not willing to lose but the money you are willing to lose, just in case the market goes against you (most people don't like the hearing money you are willing to lose), so let me put it in a way that they can take it, don't invest money for essential use that you and your family needs survive, invest money that in the next 6months to one year you won't be pressured to pull out the money when you are caught in a prolonged bear market like the one we are currently. That will help keep your emotions in check and help you be patient enough to watch your money come into profit in a bull run just in case you were losing during the bear market from your initial investment and if you bought the dip and the market dipped further.

They still need to accept the fact that one bitcoin is still one bitcoin anytime and anywhere despite the drop in dollar value which only happens during a bear market, but because they are so concerned about the dollar value, that throws them off balance and also they need to know that unrealized loss does not mean you have lost that money, you have not lost the money yet until you close the trade mostly if you are trading spots and not futures, quite frankly I stay away from futures trading and I prefer spots trading because no matter how much-unrealized loss you have, if you are patient enough your money still comes back to its original or initial value and also earns you more profit, Bitcoin away rewards you if you can be patient enough and not jumping in and out.
