For a very long I have always seen not to your not your crypto or get your crypto off centralized crypto exchange platforms but I didn't take that seriously, I just thought that if you have your coins in a well-to-do crypto exchange or exchanges you will always be safe, but the past few months have taught me that my ideology was wrong and a very risky one, because due recent unexpected events that were triggered by the crash of LUNA/UST to zero that has left so many individuals and companies that invest in it directly or indirectly.

What I mean by directly or indirectly is this a lot of people bought LUNA directly because it seemed like a very good investment at that time before it eventually crash leaving the crypto market in chaos, also some unlucky traders bought UST to save their coin in a stablecoin that is not affected so much by the crypto market volatility like it affects other coins and it is supposed to be always pegged to $1 but UST depegged and crashed to zero. while those invested in LUNA/ UST indirectly, are those that were holding their coins in peace and lost all their money because they were, unfortunately, to hold that coin in a Crypto exchange platform or firms like 3AC, Voyager, Celsius e.t.c, that filed for bankruptcy leaving their customers in deep Sh!t.

Ledger Wallets Or Cold Wallets Fixes This

Ledger wallets or Cold wallets protect you from getting hacked because it is not connected to the Internet unlike hot wallets that are connected to the Internet and open to hackers to play with at your own detriment, that is easy for them to clean their crypto portfolio, a few days back the almost $8K wallets where compromised in a Solana blockchain network and their assets where stolen. so due to bankruptcy and getting hacks, I suggest that if you can afford a ledger please do, it for your own Good to protest against hacks and bankruptcy.
