Government: Bitcoin is a scam and worthless but we accept campaign donations in Bitcoin.
I just read an article today about the state of California passing a bill or law that allows bitcoin donations for political campaigns for both state and local office political contestants, funny how they previously prohibited donations in crypto alongside eight other states in the United States including Washington D.C. and now they have passed into law that they will allow crypto donations, which will take effect in the next 60 days, this law was passed after the state’s Fair Political Practices Commission approved the new requirement, according to La Times report yesterday, July 21st.
This whole acceptance of Bitcoin for campaign donations move sounds and feelings so hypocritical to me because the government keeps on screaming that Bitcoin and crypto is a scam, used by scammers, worthless, it has no real value, and it is not real money, buy now that it will favor them they now accepted it how ironic and hypocritical because even some governments till date still have a ban on crypto but I guess when it is campaign time they will take notes from California's playbook and they will lift the ban on crypto then pass a law to accept it for campaign donations.
I still feel that most politicians that are pushing for crypto to be accepted now that it is election time, are not genuine Bitcoin or crypto believers they are just fair-weather supporters that will show their true colors after the election, they are just accepting crypto because it makes them more acceptable or should I say it will win them or gain them the votes from the younger generation, which makes the acceptance of crypto more like a winning strategy to them because as of late the politicians winning almost every election these days are crypto-friendly politicians, so everyone wants to join the winning team or have a slice of the cake.
Although it is a campaign strategy for them it is also a winning situation for crypto when it comes to free massive PR, which could lead to massive adoption of crypto because the acceptance of crypto donations will counter their fake news about crypto being a scam, Crypto is inevitable and is gradually taking over everything.

I don't take them seriously, because they only care about filling their own pockets.
Insiders and elites know what is coming and they surely don't want the average person to know. They want them doing the opposite so they go down with the ship of the old financial system.

At this point the government is just shooting themselves in the foot. They have no idea what is going on or how to tackle bitcoin, so they just go willy nilly with several ideas and laws that three months later play against them, shit's hilarious, but what can you expect when 70yr olds too proud to get advisors in the matter try to regulate crypto?
This is a pretty solid brief of all the changes Splinterlands has had, and a very easy way for newbies to understand how Guilds work and how can they join one without the need to create their own. I also find it interesting that you are writing in italian mate, would you be up for doing some translations for Leo Finance?
