Sad Story: How gas fee cost me my first Airdrop this year🥲

I have missed a lot of Airdrops in the past and this year as well but none of them has pained me as much as the one I missed yesterday just because of the $0.79 gas fee, the gas fee amount is very small but the hurt I got for it was massive, I would say I was never an airdrop fan until after Space ID and Arbitrum airdrops, which I missed both of them sometime this year, they both inspired me to start looking or hunting for airdrops and trust I have done a lot of them both testnets and mainnets, so am hoping I get lucky from them because I have spent a lot of time, energy and a lot of money on gas fee and buying NFT to make me eligible for some airdrops.

As they say, time waits for no man, that is the same way it goes for Airdrops, I literally missed out on "$pepera (Zksync) airdrop" yesterday because I didn't have enough ETH on my Zksync mainnet wallet for gas fee, why I am so hurt about this airdrop is the fact that I saw it 4hours before it ended but I did not take it seriously on till the last hour because I thought I will not be eligible for it, but to my greatest surprise I was but it was already too late because after I clicked on the link and connected my metamask wallet, it showed that I could claim some portion of the token, so I clicked on the claim button, that was when I noticed I didn't have a gas fee to claim it, before I could the airdrop had ended.

The painful thing is that I already clicked on the claim button, but before I could send the Ethereum from my Binance wallet to Metamask so I can bridge the ETH from the Ethereum mainnet network to Zksync mainnet network the airdrop has ended, I wish I had enough ZKsync network ETH I would have been among the lucky people that claim the $pepera (Zksync) airdrop, what yesterday taught me is to always be prepared in this airdrop hunting game, but how prepared can someone be?

Noted: The Airdrop was for those who have interacted with the Zksync network and it has three stages, yesterday's own was the first one.
