[ESP-ENG] El equipo de los importados en la LVBP desde 1990 hasta el 2000 // The imported team in the LVBP from 1990 to 2000
Greetings friends of this community, it is a pleasure again to share with you in hive, this time I write about what I consider were the best imported players who participated in the winter baseball league in Venezuela between 1990 and 2000.

De antemano quiero pedir disculpa a mis amigos lectores por la falta de nitidez en la imagen, ya que se trata del pitcher Huck Flener lanzador importado que desde 1993 y hasta 2001 jugo con Cardenales y Magallanes, el mismo perdió su ojo derecho en un encuentro frente a su ex equipo(Magallanes) cuando jugaba la semifinal del 2001 para los los pájaros rojos. Flener fue un dominante zurdo, de buenos pitcheos combinados, llego a ser abridor en 13 ocasiones de 60 juegos en los que participó, su récord lo dejo en 11 ganados y 9 perdidos, una baja efectividad de 3.93 y 139 ponches, el incidente donde el estadounidense pierde el ojo ha sido una de las escenas mas triste del béisbol pues nunca más volvió a lanzar y era muy común verlo en el país desde octubre por eso lo escogí como el primer lanzador de la rotación.
Luego le siguen Willie Banks quien vino con Leones,Caribes, tigres, Cardenales y fue campeón en la 90 -91, en su historial tiene 6 temporadas con 19 ganados y 10 perdidos.
Tim Harikkala el tercero en la rotación de los importados fue un pelotero constante en la liga, mediático y muy querido por la afición, pronunciar su nombre en algunos se les hacia pegajoso, jugó durante 9 temporadas desde 1995 con Tiburones, Tigres, Caribes, Magallanes y Bravos récord de 12 victorias y 23 derrotas.
Doug Linton cuarto en la rotación con sus buenos números en efectividad de 2.55 en 241 inning lanzados, dejo marca de 17 y 11 y mas de 150 ponches jugo con Cardenales de Lara entre 1989 y 1995
El otro abridor Mike Romano que vino con los crepusculares durante 7 campañas, gano un premio al pitcher del año y uno de más valioso, fue campeón con su equipo en una ocasión y en par de oportunidades reforzando a otro equipo una con Magallanes y otra con los Tigres.

El puesto de cerrador para Santos Hernandez pelotero Panameño que con Pastora de los LLano lanzo 5 temporadas y salvo 70 juegos, pero por si acaso tambien podia poner a un zurdo que salvo 19 juegos en dos campañas con la Águilas del Zulia Joe Crawford.

La mayoría de los jardineros que vinieron a Venezuela fueron rendidores, el caso de Ryan Freel que vino en tres oportunidades, podia jugar en los tres jardines pero yo lo colocaria en centro, compartiendo allí con Ozzie Timmons que jugo con Magallanes, Leones,Tigres y Caribes en 4 años y pego 21 estacazos.
Joe Hall en la izquierda fue un pelotero que vino por cuatro años con Anzoátegui y Petroleros de Cabimas dejando 171 inatrapables allí lo acompaña Trenidad Hubbard que también vino con Caribes en dos campañas.
En la derecha coloca a Jalal Leach que jugo con la Guaira, Aragua y Cardenales boto 12 pelotas del campo, era un bateador consistente, remolcó más de 100 carreras y bateaba a la zurda, su compañero Shannon Stewart en solo dos temporadas se ganó a la gente y dejo promedio por encima de 300.

Entre las temporadas de 1990 y 2000, pocos fueron los receptores importados que jugaron continuamente en Venezuela por la gran cantidad de criollos que había para la época en dicha posición, sin embargo hay que darle mucho crédito a Randy Knorr que jugó 4 campañas con Lara dejando buenos número ofensivos y defensivos, allí pondría de sustituto o compañero a Creighton Gubanich que vino con la Guaira.
