Welcome to my Post, according to the week 89th topic "The word", I made a cover of "Joy to the World" by Maverick crew. "The word" here correspond with the beautiful season in which are in, the season of Christmas. "The word" here reminds me the story of how Jesus Christ of Nasareth came to the world in form of flesh to bring Liberation to the children of God from eternal death to eternal Life. it is as the result of the coming of the new born king we are saved Today as Christians and therefore we tend to celebrate the birth of Our King every 25th December in every year.
I decided to pick this particular song which is Titled "Joy to the world" by Maverick crew Jesus Christ coming has brought Joy to my Life and the Life of many Christians around the world.
In my cover, I first of all played my trumpet then I used my voice to sing the chorus, Yeah am a musician that I love both the vocal and playing of instrument.
The Cover was made on Key C major on the Keyboard and I played on Key D major on my b-flat trumpet.
I once posted about my b-flat Trumpet it is two keys ahead of the keyboard that is if the Keyboard or rather Piano plays on key C on my Trumpet I play on key D major and if the Piano plays on key F, on my Trumpet I play on key G and when the Piano plays on B-flat, I play on major C this all happens this way because my trumpet is a B-flat Trumpet.
meanwhile, there are other types of trumpet like the C-major trumpet it plays in line with the Piano, it is no key ahead of the Piano.

This is a cool cover of this Christmas song Joy to the World. Mixing trumpet and your voice! Outstanding that you have mixed it. I dont know if the piano part is a backing track or someone there at your place played live with you..? Before now I really had the passion to sing and play my instrument along just like one of our famous musician in Nigeria Nathaniel Bassey but I find my voice unattractive my own self. it piss me off whenever I sing and play my trumpet if I record it I use to fall out of love with it I feel my voice is not nice but I've met people that have encouraged me in so many diverse ways and you're one already. Thank you so much bro 🙏🙏
